aspen, those were great pix of Atlantis. Gives me a really good idea of what it would be like - thx a mint for taking the time to share them!

The glass pieces look distinctively like intn'lly famed artisan, Dale Chihuly's creations. I've gone to see his exhibitions and love his work. The amazing glasswork in Las Vegas's Bellagio lobby is his commissioned work as well.

I tried to get a photo of the chandelier while I was on the Wonder, but it was hard. I never got a good one. It is absolutely beautiful. I don't think it is a big as the one in the Bellagio.

Hey guys, I haven’t been able to listen to this week’s shows yet but Pete had a post on the podcast forum that he was going to pick a name of the people registered for the cruise and make it free. Has this happened yet? I can’t fid the original thread anywhere and thought I would see the winner posted on the podcast board somewhere.

Thanks Paul! I also think it is Chihuly. I did not see any thing that said who made them. A man was giving a tour and I listened from a far. He said the air creation/sculpture was worth $1.2 million. The spires are $5,00 to $7,00 a piece. A while back Dale Chihuly was in Aspen and gave some classes. I wish I could have gone. That is a great picture of the chandelier at the Bellagio. Hardly anyone was in the lobby area.

Hi Shelly, no, I don't respond to accidents. It has to be an attack with terrorism related motives for my team to get involved. I bet those people were glad they had an experienced pilot yesterday!!!

Yeah that is nice. That garden area was all decked out for Christmas when I was there, very cool looking.

Paul, you take great photographs.

I wish my DH had a fraction of your talent. We went to a Paula Deen booksigning once on my birthday. I gave him my camera so that he could take my pic with Paula. What did I have to remember the moment? Paula's face from the mouth down to her upper chest! Yes, he was zoomed in on this area. He did manage to get a pic of her DH signing the book for me. Her DH seemed very nice. Called me 'darlin' and all but I really went there for Paula. I was a bit cranky when we left. DH never gets the camera anymore. I let DD11 take the photos when I can't.
