I did...I lived in Des Moines from 6th grade year to the end of my sophomore year at Lincoln (would have been class of 91)! And then we moved to Arizona and eventually Indiana while DH (boyfriend at the time) stayed in Des Moines. Our paths crossed again after about 10 years and it led him to move here to Indiana to marry me!

What a Small World. What did DH do in Des Moines? Our school was too small to play Des Moines in sports. We always talked about Valley, though. My parents live in Winterset, so we spend plenty of time in Des Moines.

He was in Swing Choir/Chamber Singers/Concert Choir...I was in orchestra...definitely not sporty people...lol

DH also went to Lincoln. He was class of 90.

That's funny. I wasn't much into sports either, but I sure as heck wasn't going to admit I was a band geek. I was a spectator at the sports, but all of my honors from high school are from honor bands. I was '93. My best friend was in in show choir. I think he did all state choir. He was so musically talented I can't remember if he did choir or band. I think he did both in different years.

Lincoln had an awesome show/swing choir back then! I always loved watching them perform...

I tried out for and made Lincoln's version of color guard & dance team (Railettes) but moved before I could even start with the squad. I did do color guard here in Indiana though...so I was sort of a band geek too!

then a couple days at Boardwalk to try out DVC for the first time (renting points to see how much we like it).

That's how we got hooked! Same hotel, too! DDDDOOO IIIIIITTTT! We LOVE ours!
