This is the good recipe - there is one posted using pina colada mix but it doesn't even come close to tasting like the CC ones.

And I like to mix it up and then freeze it and then scoop some out by the spoonful to have a DCL moment on a bad day.

I am currently dieting, but I plan on trying it a couple of weeks.

I would do the same thing. I get a lot of "your going to Disney again" in my neighborhood. I just avoid the conversation so I don't get too upset.

I dread talking about it at the office. It was bad enough to take a day here or there and go to Cedar Point. But a week to go to Disney? I may 'tweak the truth' a bit. I'm going on a cruise and to see my sister in Florida. That is at least 50% true, and I might see my sister, if she wants to come visit us!!!

My parents are cruise people, so they are just happy I am finally trying a cruise. I throw them the occassional question - what to wear for dinner, what to pack - makes them feel better and it got them to agree to look after the cat while we are gone!

Welcome back Shelly! Can't wait to hear all about your experiences.

oh and please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. She reads here, but doesn't post.

She has had a pitutary brain tumor for years now, but it is benign, although still wreaks havoc on her endocrine system and possibly vision. She's on all sorts of medication and steroids to help regulate hormones etc. She's had one surgery to remove part of it, but it has grown back. They are concerned with her visit to the neuro surgeon that it is growing faster than they like. So she has an appt with the eye doctor friday am to check if it is affecting her vision (it pushes on the optic nerves etc.) and then see her surgeon again and decide if surgery is in order yet again. We hope she can still enjoy her cruise and she can RELAX with drink in hand! so keep her in your thoughts for us, i know it worries her (and all of us!). but knowing we have a visit to the mouse to look forward to might ease some of the pain! if they do schedule surgery, it might be very soon- before the cruise.

Just went to the DCL website to add excursions to my wish list and discovered I already did it way back when. I guess I'm more prepared for 12:01 than I thought I was. I have 5 excursions listed but I'm really only interested in the parasilaing and the watercraft eco tour. Are there any groups interested in the watercraft thingy? It would be cool if a group of us could get together and do this. Just don't laugh at me too much... you may fall off your jet ski!

(Yeah, that's the person's name that put a bounty on me. I must have took her for a small fortune. )

Some chick didn't like it that I put her on the NHL and she has been trying to take me down all day - non-stop. It is getting annoying. Besides, she started it by smacking me down. I only put people on the NHL that smack me over 5 times in a row. She even put comments on my stats page - I just deleted them. It's only a game people!!!

The money in a showdown comes from the victim. And sometimes if a posse member joins you in a fight then they collect some money from the fight in addition to you.

If a bounty is collected then you lose those popularity points.
