I will in due time. I have to catch my breath first. I just literally walked in the door 10 minutes ago!!!

And guess what was the first thing I did???

Is this something you would consider a "good" drink as is or will I need to elevate it's octane level to proper standards?

It's one of those drinks that comes out of the slushie machine (another thing I'm not typically a fan of). It's good. Not incredibly strong, but very tasty and so refreshing!

It would definitely not hurt the drink to add a little extra rum, but not really necessary. My DH drank it and he will generally not drink a "frozen" drink. He will only have margaritas on the rocks. We got ours in one of those plastic coconuts. We were only getting it for our son, so we were really confusing the bartender. I kept telling my 4 year old...we are getting you the coconut. The bartender asks if we wanted a virgin one. I said no. He looked at us like we were child abusers. Of course, my DS did not drink the Konk Kooler.

oh and please keep my mom in your thoughts and prayers. She reads here, but doesn't post.

She has had a pitutary brain tumor for years now, but it is benign, although still wreaks havoc on her endocrine system and possibly vision. She's on all sorts of medication and steroids to help regulate hormones etc. She's had one surgery to remove part of it, but it has grown back. They are concerned with her visit to the neuro surgeon that it is growing faster than they like. So she has an appt with the eye doctor friday am to check if it is affecting her vision (it pushes on the optic nerves etc.) and then see her surgeon again and decide if surgery is in order yet again. We hope she can still enjoy her cruise and she can RELAX with drink in hand! so keep her in your thoughts for us, i know it worries her (and all of us!). but knowing we have a visit to the mouse to look forward to might ease some of the pain! if they do schedule surgery, it might be very soon- before the cruise.

We just studied the pituitary gland in anatomy and not people realize that it is the major gland in your body - it controls all the other glands in the body. In other words - pituitary tumors are very dangerous!!
