Normally, I would totally agree with you but... Don't knock it 'til ya try it! My reasoning... why go with the fattening stuff when all ya need is something thick and creamy? The fat free stuff fits the bill and I can drink them guilt-free.

I think everyone is gone. I have to be up and at a hockey rink early tomorrow. I am not a morning person. I don't even have time for coffee and DIS before I go tomorrow.

I swiped swallows of Peach Schnapps from my parent's stash everytime I went down the stairs to the basement...

I love the girly drinks. My favorite drink used to be a fuzzy navel. Yum! My dad used to let me drink in high school and that's what I'd have.

I tried all the dresses on again tonight and DH did better. He found one he likes. I've decided I might only bring one along, but the black one was only $20, so I have a hard time taking that one back. But, he's redeemed himself a bit.

Kinda in the cleaning mood. (Hey, we gotta take advantage of it when it strikes soooo).

Gonna start tidying up around here. Besides X-Men is on. Great movie to have on while I work.

See you guys tomorrow! Probably the same time as usual. I work every morning. Even on Saturdays.

50? Ex? EEEWWWWWWW! You are taking me back to my Dad and his bonspiel weekends. We lived crawling distance to the curling rink.

DH liked one of my choices from today - Old Speckled Hen. I bought it simply because I couldn't stop looking at the name. That's how I pick beer for him. I also picked up Headstrong Pale Ale and some sort Chocolate Stout. I tend to just get him samples of imports

My choice today - coffee, with cream amaretto, caramel Baileys and a spot of creme de cacao. It is better with regular amaretto and Baileys, but this worked too!

I figured out why we drank this in college. I was reading the history on the internet. Starting in 1994, it was brewed in an old Stroh Brewery very close to where I went to college.

OT: Warning for parents.

If you saw the news reports a while back about kids sleeping through smoke detectors it is very TRUE. DH just burned some garlic bread & tripped our detectors. We made sure everything was under control before I went upstairs to make sure she wasn't freaking out. She was still sound asleep. I may investigate a voice recording smoke detector.

Now I can still smell the garlic bread & I am still hungry though.
