Oh. My. Goodness.

:lovestruc

The outtakes at the end when they were running the credits - that was the BEST.

Man, I missed the end. I came over to my computer to get caught up on the thread. He is handsome.

Below the tag that indicates that I've actually been here since sometime in 1998, when the boards kept crashing and we had to re-register, losing our post counts...

<<<<<<<<<<<<See my Hugh Jackman tag.

I'm not sure what it means, exactly, but I earned it several years ago when I was blabbering on about Hugh on here somewhere as I have been known to do.

DH knows of my obsession and puts up with it. He's a saint. :rotfl:

Alicia and I went over to VWL this past Christmas and were amazed at how beautiful it was! We will be staying there in the future. It's a resort to stay at during the winter in my opinion. The theme is all about cold weather! :thumbsup2

Our last two trips have been at VWL, its a great resort, but the Villas feel somewhat removed. Sometimes that is good, but we do a lot of walking.

Our home is VWL and we bought there because that's always been our favorite, but we're looking forward to staying at most of the other DVC villas as well at some point.

In fact, in September, we doing one of those "not the best use of your points" things that can get you scolded on the DVC boards here - we're staying at the Poly in a lagoon view room. We've always wanted to stay there. We couldn't justify the points for concierge, but four nights lagoon view we could swing.

I'd love to get AKL concierge sometime. It's just so darned near next to impossible to do at 7 months.

DVC ROCKS!

:scared1: :scared1:

Here's a thought: Maybe Podcast Cruise #2, 3, or 4 will be a Halloween cruise, and we can come as our favorite Disney characters. Paul as a Mongol...

Susan and I have Mary P. and Bert already, but making new costumes would be fun, too.

:scared1:

Have I mentioned how excited I am about this cruise? Even though it's our third. We did the Eastern 7-day several years ago and the 3-night 4 years ago. We've had an outside cabin with a big porthole and an inside cabin for the short cruise, but we've NEVER HAD A VERANDAH!!! I'm so psyched at the idea of sitting out there, having coffee in the morning, and watching the ocean go by.:goodvibes

Oh. And I'm excited about the podcast events and meeting all of you crazy folks too.

I LOVE having a veranda!!! It has spoiled me though and I will never (if I have anything to say about it) cruise without one again.

Not me :( This cruise I have the crappy ole inside cabin. :rotfl: I love having a verandah and have had one on almost all my cruises. Being solo it was going to cost over $1700 just for the navigator's verandah. That is a lot for a 4 day cruise. Next year I am cruising for 10 nights on the Celebrity Equinox in an Aqua Class cabin with a balcony, concierge service and special access to a room that is similar to DCL's Rainforest room. I am saving some money for that. Actually, even though I am a little bit jealous of all the verandah folks, I am okay with my inside stateroom. I am very spoiled. :) I am lucky to get to travel to WDW and take cruises and other trips as often as I do. I am also lucky to own DVC and get to stay in really nice hotels. When I was younger I used to go over and look at the YC/BC and think that only wealthy, priviledged people got to stay there. Now I get to stay there.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy there verandahs. Dodie, you will love love love your verandah. Once you've had one it is hard to go back to anything else.

Okay, I'm done rambling now. :rotfl2:

What a cute picture.
She is beautiful.
Did she like her surprize from daddy? :)

Thanks! She did like her surprise, and she had lots of fun at her dance.

Morning all! We headed out into the snow early this morning for a scrumptious breakfast.

Nicole - love the pics - we don't have any kind of Father Daughter dance around here.

Brandie - love the new glasses & the hair cut!

It's through Girl Scouts. They had a great time.

We are really looking forward to the cruise, too!!! We have a verandah, and I'm not sure why because the water really scares me. But, I'm looking forward to it anyway.

Never cruised before and I'm getting a veranda. I'm not quite sure when I'll be get to cruise again, so why not splurge?

When I took DH on his 1st cruise (on Princess), we had an inside cabin. He was ok with it during the cruise, but afterwards he told me that we would have a verandah the next time.

I wasn't even sure that i'd be able to get him on another cruise anyway. He didn't enjoy himself as much on Princess. So imagine my surprise when he agreed to this one! I'm hoping that this cruise will change his mind on cruising...

I am in an inside room. I hope to only be using my room to sleep. Hopefully I won't be doing much of that.:cool1:

Howdy, guys! I wasn't gonna get online tonight but then I remembered that tomorrow was the big day. So, is anyone gonna stay up to book their stuff? I just have to book the parasailing and that's it for me. (Maybe the jet ski thingy.)
