I got Palo for 6:30 on Nassau day. I had gotten it last night for the sea day but I changed it this morning. Anyone want to try for a small group for brunch when we get on board?

I also got the 10am Segway tour and the 10 am parasailing. Don't tell my mother about the parasailing. I mentioned it to her and she said it was too dangerous. And hopefully my STEP mother won't notice it on our reservation and tell mom. I probably don't have to worry about that. They only talk at family functions and the next one won't be until after the cruise. By then I will be back in one piece. Now I just have to figure out how to take pictures while I'm up there.

and a Pedicure 4:00pm Sea Day..I love pedicures plan on getting one before we leave and I have another 8 days of Disney & walking around after the cruise so I am going to need it)

Does anyone know if things like bike, float and tube rentals can be done when you get to Castaway Cay? I really don't want to book anything.....I was just wondering if those things might be an option later.

Yes, you definitely can do this once you get there. In fact, I would recommend it. If you reserve in advance, you will be charged whether or not you end up using it. If you wait and change your mind, doesn't cost you anything.

Hi Tracy. I thought as long as you cancelled three days prior to the cruise, May 7th, you were not charged. Is this correct?

DCL Online Registration Question...

Since the people in my party are flying separately, will the second person be able to change his flight information? It automatically set both of our flight info to the same thing.

(I can copy and paste the answer over on the other thread, I forgot to go there before I started typing.)

This is better to send to me. When you do it online it sets up everyone with the same flight information. I can have DCL manually set up different schedules. Todd, I'll get to your other question shortly by email .

Well, I didn't book anything because the Vista Spa wellness massages were pretty much all booked up and I didn't want to book too close to dinner.

I still may book at Serenity Bay, but I may also just try my luck when we get on the boat for an appointment at Vista Spa.

Tracy...Just curious, would you happen to know what percentage of the ship is booked; specifically cabins booked? I'm curious how close it is to a sell out.

Sorry, I can't find out this information, though it isn't close to a sell out right now. I can tell that from doing reservations online.

True, but once onboard, you will be charged if you change your mind. That's what I was referring to.

Deb and I were both going to do this. But then she saw the YouTube videos of the small boat bouncing around in the water. The parasailing was not the issue but the possibility of sitting on the boat for an extended period and getting sea sick. She can be sitting on the beach just thinking of being sick and get sick.

I hope Chris goes with you. I'm sure he will.

TIP FOR PARASAILERS!!!!

Before you leave home, buy a disposable waterproof camera. They sell them everywhere (Target, Kmart, Walmart). DH did the parasailing at Castaway Cay several years ago. I don't know if they've changed it, but the only people they allow on the boat are the actual parasailers, no other guests, so you have to take your own pictures. He strapped the strap around his wrist and got some AMAZING pictures of the ship and the island from far above. Very, very cool. And, if you drop it somehow, you'll be disappointed, but you'll only be out a few bucks, not like you've lost your good camera.

There isn't enough money in the world to get me up there. Period. But I really enjoyed watching him from the ship and his pictures are cool.

DH & DD will be watching too...DD is too young, DH doesn't do heights. It was work to be able to get him comfortable with flying in a plane.

It seems like everyone got what they wanted, except Palo Brunch. Congrats. I guess I booked one of the easy days to get Palo.

Yup after some pulled out hair and some choice words and a few paces to the kitchen and back for some water (too late to drink the hard stuff on a work night) I finally got in and was able to book according to my earlier plans.

10am parasailing
2pm Water jet ski tour

If the crew has something up their sleeve for CC that interferes, we can always cancel and try to reschedule.

But I am going to bed. (And not even going to give the countdown until morning.)
