I'm not gonna get that bothered by it Dara. :) Tracy works for DU and her duties are much more than scanning this topic daily. If I had an important question to get answered I'd email her directly or I'd take it to the DCL board and ask there. There is already an FAQ posted up at the top.

Frankly I think there are a lot of us here that over plan way too much for our own good. And then there is the all fluff and the chick peas. :lmao:

You're a wise man George. :thumbsup2

Hi Paul. Where is everyone? Must be driving home or eating.

DW is out getting her hair doodled. I'm going through my blues CD's to make elliptical sets.

Then I might go make a big chicken salad. When DW gets home with her new hair I'll ask her to Elaine dance for me.

Our waitlist came through so we will be staying at the Beach Club after the cruise. I am very excited.

All this Disneyland talk on the Podcast is making me want to go to DL.

We are posting photos today.:yay:

We have 5:15 - it was that or 7:55...Way too late for DD
I am Scandanavian so I like to food.

Thanks for asking, Nicole.

My daughter is doing better... I guess. We had a rough night. I took her to the Immediate Care (my nurse friend said to take her to IC instead of the ER... I should have followed my gut and taken her to the ER). So, I took her to IC and they tested for strep (negative) and the flu (negative) and took urine for me to take to her doctor today. They told me she would be fine and to take her home and give her Tylenol and Motrin.

We got home and I put her in my bed while I caught up on American Idol and Top Chef... she seemed to be sleeping soundly but then started shaking and had a seizure. She was blue and making the most awful sounds. We called 911 and they rushed her to the hospital. Her temp was over 107 at one point during the night. It was the scariest thing I have ever been through with any of my kids.

We're home now. She still has a temp of 104. The fever was caused by an infection in her kidneys. The seizure was caused by the high fever.

She should be back to normal in a day or two. I will never be normal. :)

:scared: :grouphug: glad she is doing better

My mother's parents were Swedish (Well, Swedes in Finland), My Great Aunt Swedish (obviously), and her husband Norwegian.
I hung out with all the Finns in High School, much to my Grandmother's dismay.

My Mom was born in Sweden (during WWII) - came over when she was 10.
DH works with a lot of Swedes now...I should tell you - I do a lot of Swedish baking - breads etc. and DH makes some of the 'Christmas specialties'...Johnson's temptation (no I can't spell the Swedish name for that one...)

:goodvibes

Grandparents came over in the 20's, mom born early 30's in Montreal.
I have been exposed to more Finn food than Swede.
GM made fantastic silver doller pancakes. mmmmmmmmm
Mom could never duplicate them, close, but no cigar.
Not sure of the spelling, but love Poula (pronounced Pooolla) bread, from Finland.

Oh, Ann- I am so glad she is doing better. My DD Grace, now 8, had a febrile seizure at the age of 2, it was one of the scariest moments of my life. So, so glad she is feeling better and hope she is fever free soon! :grouphug:

Love the Muppets and loved the Muppet Show! The Muppet Christmas Carol is our all-time favorite Christmas movie!

I love GONZO!

I have seasons 1 and 2 so far. When I finish watching them I will buy season 3. My friends all laughed when I told them I bought the DVD's. They were like "why". Because their funny!
