First time I've hit a milestone post ever.

That sounds like fun. We want to head over to Atlantis to check it out once we reach the port. We don't plan on doing the excursion, but just want to see what the resort has to offer. We've heard most everything there is expensive; especially food.

We haven't decided exactly what we are doing, but we might get off the boat at Atlantis and walk around and take a taxi back. Of course, this depends on how tired we are. The Dolphin Encounter leaves at 9:30 and gets back around 1:45.

I tried making socks & sweaters.
They did not turn out so well.
So I now just stick to blankets.
I have a neat pattern, and I can make one for a crib up to a king size bed.
I have made quite a few larger ones as gifts.
However the cost of wool these days is a killer.

I just started knitting things other than what I call slabs this past summer. I knit a top down cardigan and it turned out beautifully. It is more than a formula than a pattern. It works off the gauge of the yarn you are knitting and your measurements. Or John's or one of the kids. It can be a pull over too.

I can barely sew, so I am pretty sure knitting is out of my comfort zone. It does sound like fun.

For the record, outside of a couple of Coach purses, any of the cloths I wore in the 80s I no longer have. They are out of style and I would never be able to fit in them. The 80s were not only twenty some odd years ago but about 50 lbs ago.

I am in the office today. Aaaahhhh, human contact. I'll be signing a different tune by 10AM. Skeet shooting.........hmmmmmmm

Speaking of that, I actually did shoot skeet on a cruise before. It was a lot of fun. How come they don't do that anymore?? Do other cruiselines still do that?

DH Phillip would sign up for that cruise and activity in a heartbeat!

Has anyone made any specific reservations this past week...Palo, excursions, etc?

Palo on Nassau night and parasailing is all that I booked. For Nassau, we plan on having breakfast, then getting off the ship and touring the market, then getting back on the ship for lunch and a dip in the pool.
