Good morning all! It's sunny, but cold here today. I can't wait until Thursday because they are calling for temps in the mid 50s and possibly 60 on Friday. :boat:

Editing...For those on the east coast looking at solid white snow....Warm weather, and I'm sure a significant melt, is on the way. :)

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

that's roughly 155 mph!!!!

Where are people's heads?

I know now I do have a heavy foot.
DH refers to me as Parneli, but I try to follow the speed limit and most of the time I am within 10 km of the posted speed limit.
I don't care if the road or highway was desserted.
I don't care if I knew that road like the back of my hand.
I don't care if my car could go that fast, which it can't.
You would not find me going that fast.
Now this person that was caught is 26 old enough to know better.
I often think that the younger generation is lacking in comon sense.
This is not ment to offend any Dis boarders in their 20's.
We know you are a high intelligence. :thumbsup2

I can't believe the Tag Fairy visited us again?!?!?!? I've wanted a "I love :cake:" forever. Someday my fairy will come.

250 kph? If my rough conversion math is right, that is 150 mph for us non metric people. OMG. Where did he need to get to so fast? Some people have no brains.

I decided to use one of my precious non Disney vacation days. Didn't sleep last night and it was too cold to go outside on no sleep. So maybe I can make my post count better on this thread with one day off.

I do want to do some knitting. I can't buy anymore yarn until I finish at least 2 projects.

Kim

I know am working on a knitting project myself.
However it is a slow go as I am trying to read the twillight set as well.
Waiting on the doctor to call.
I did something to my neck yesterday and it is killing me.
As for the idiot my responce is already posted.
Have a great day at home.
What are you knitting?

Anyone notice anything new about me?

You know what's scary about Tracy's new tags? The Tag Fairy is following these podcast cruise threads and reading these goofy posts.:scared1:

I am at least 10 pages behind today. Trying to catch up, but I have actually work I need to do.

New Moon is a slower read, but it really picks up at the end. Plus it really builds the characters for the next books.

Did you read Midnight Sun yet?

I haven't figure out how to read it yet. I was thinking about printing it out, but I don't really have a good printer for that. Reading that much on the computer hurts my eyes. I read the first couple of pages and loved it.

If by Math Nerd, you are referring to those of us that find satisfaction in the logic and patterns within everyday life, then yes; yes we are.

Today is 3²=09.
Tomorrow is 3*3=09.
Friday is 3+6=09.

However, a week from Saturday is a near holy day. π day. (3.14..........) The super day comes in a six years though, 3.1415!!

Symmetry, form and function. Who could ask for anything more?

Nice. I do like how you included a show tune. :rotfl: I didn't get the 3 squared from yesterday. Math is a wonderful thing.

I am more than 10 pages behind.
And "The Man" on "Chico and the Man".

I used to watch that show all the time.

And the original of Willy Wonka with Jack is still the best.

I just don't like Johnny Depp as Willy......it just seemed....wrong to me.

No flames, please. :flower3:

We watched part of it on ABC Family last week. It did seem, well odd. The original seemed a little off, but it was the same kind of off that Alice in Wonderland is. The new one was, well, almost disturbing. (IMO)

I love both movies for different reasons. Creepy and weird are a given with Tim Burton, but his version was more faithful to the book.

I see the Wilder version as a standalone fiction and fascinating as a snapshot/frozen moment in time. That computer with 6 input buttons and reel-to-reel tape!!! lol

Doompa-dee-DOO!!!!

My son likes both movies. He calls the one with Johnny Depp the girl one and the Gene Wilder the boy one. :lmao: I am still afraid for the day he figures out that that "girl" is Jack Sparrow. It might ruin movies for him forever.

Sadly it can't be printed out. My eyes were googly

for a day after reading it online, but the story made it worth it.

Great new tag Tracy.

Not that I'm bitter or anything, but I have been on the Dis for almost 10 year AND NO TAGS. I know I have said at least one or two pithy comments. Nope, not bitter here. :rotfl: :rotfl:

I guess that makes my decision easier. I am in the last 100 pages of New Moon, so I should be done with it soon. My laptop screen is dying too, so I have about 20 lines up and down the screen. That makes reading it on my computer even harder.:surfweb:

Thank you for the compliment. But most of my peers, I would agree, have no common sense when it comes to possible consequences.

Agreed.

Did you always have "Survived the Big Crash" in your tag?

What are you knitting?

I am working on a lace knitted scarf. I took a class on Sunday at my absolutely favorite knitting store. They have such yummy yarns. And they have great classes. I think I need to learn to knit socks next. I don't like how most socks feel on my feet. Maybe home made socks will feel better.

Good morning!!!

Ok, need a favor!!

I have my lab midterm today at 2:00 :scared1: I'm pretty much ready for it, but I still need good thoughts!!!

Please, send some my way!!!!

You got it Shelly. Best of luck today. :)

Good morning, all. Regarding breastfeeding lady who is quite the multi-tasker. There is talk that she will be charged with child endangerment. She could actually go to jail for this. In her defense, she said it was a busy day, and this is not a normal happening. Ironic part about this story is that my sister's step-dad was just telling us the other day that there was a lady that came through his drive through at the pharmacy breastfeeding. Maybe this is something that happens every day.

I don't know Nicole. I guess thirst knows no boundries. :confused3

It was obviously a stupid move. But, it sounds like it happens more often than we realize. When I was in high school I was visiting an aunt. Her DD was crying (3 months old), so she had me get her out of her carseat. So, while we were drive I was holding the baby. And, the mom thought nothing of it. I have never taken my kids out of their carseats when we are driving. I don't think I'm a better mom than her. It's just a really big deal nowadays to have your kids in their carseats. Some people still have that mentality, but this might be over the top.

Now it's getting deep in here. Because I get myself in trouble with the cake/pie topic how about Coke/pepsi?

Carseat? What is that? When I was a kid I think my mom stuck me in the cupholder. Wait, we didn't have a cupholder way back then. I think they just put us on the car floor. :rotfl2:

Coke or Pepsi? Not even close. Rootbeer! :lmao:

Anyone notice anything new about me?

Someone paid a visit to you. :thumbsup2 Very nice Tracy.

Good day Aaron. I want the 12" of snow from yesterday gone. We expect 50 or so during the weekend. :)

I'm still waiting for my SWA flights to go down a little. Still not bad at $218 ns r/t but I want SWA to give me a little sugar.
