I forgot to comment on the cake issue, too. I like wedding cake. The white kind that is really moist. I like cake that stuff in it. Half of my backside is thanks to a really good cake place in Iowa City. But just plain 'ol cakes are yucky to me. I can't stand Betty Crocker canned frosting or any brand for that matter. I'm not a fan of Hy-Vee or Wal-Mart cakes either. Their frosting is ick-o. Fake sugary stuff.

I forgot to comment on the cake issue, too. I like wedding cake. The white kind that is really moist. I like cake that stuff in it. That's cuz it's all shortening and sugar!! I use a bit of shortening in my icing, but only for stability. I use real honest to goodness butter in my buttercream!

I do use a box mix, but only as a base. I doctor it up...and no one ever believes me that it's a box mix base!!

I used my cooler over the weekend. The one I am planning on as a carry on for the plane and the ship. It worked well. However, when I was putting it in the backseat, I remembered someone giving the dimensions for carry ons to the ship. 14x12x9 (or something close). The cooler is roughly 14" in each way. Is this going to be a problem? Will I have to choose another carry on and forgo my snazzy cooler? Say it ain't so. Please, say it ain't so.

You could always call the airline and ask them.
