Its just west of Kalamazoo and almost to Lake Michigan/South Haven

In my many years of life, I have never once visited the fine state of Michigan. I spend all of my vacationing in Florida

It really is a great place, we have it all...the good and the bad....warm, cold, lakes, moutains (big hills), islands, rural and big city. I think we are second in golf courses per capita behind North Carolina. We are a short ride to Chicago or Detroit.

If you want to come visit I'll give you a tour.

Really? A decent place for dinner is my house, about 10 mins from Portage! When are you coming? How long? staying? There aren't a lot of "hot spots" per say, but some good food and decent shopping.

One to two days. I have some business out there. Not sure on the actual timing Don. It may the grand tour including STL and Columbia MO. I'll let you know when it's all settles. Heck, I'll buy you dinner!

Deal! There are some good places, but I'll take you to the Beacon Club since its a private club chances are you won't eat there otherwise. Its a neat old house with great food (and lots of old folks eating there) but we love it. Its right by the airport and only about 7 miles from my house.
