I haven't seen the movie yet. I looked at the scene but we don't have speakers at work...seemed very odd without sound...

He bit her finger. Pretty dumb move for a vampire whose "brother" will attack her in New Moon over a paper cut.:confused3

Thanks for asking, Nicole.

My daughter is doing better... I guess. We had a rough night. I took her to the Immediate Care (my nurse friend said to take her to IC instead of the ER... I should have followed my gut and taken her to the ER). So, I took her to IC and they tested for strep (negative) and the flu (negative) and took urine for me to take to her doctor today. They told me she would be fine and to take her home and give her Tylenol and Motrin.

We got home and I put her in my bed while I caught up on American Idol and Top Chef... she seemed to be sleeping soundly but then started shaking and had a seizure. She was blue and making the most awful sounds. We called 911 and they rushed her to the hospital. Her temp was over 107 at one point during the night. It was the scariest thing I have ever been through with any of my kids.

We're home now. She still has a temp of 104. The fever was caused by an infection in her kidneys. The seizure was caused by the high fever.

She should be back to normal in a day or two. I will never be normal. :)

Oh my gosh! That must have been the worst!!!
I am sooo glad that she is on her way to feeling better and they found out what was causing her high fever! Poor thing!
I will be thinking about you and Piper!:flower3:

Hmmm..... I think was a good call to delete this scene.

I am glad the scene was deleted also. I have no idea why they thought finger biting would be something Edward would do when he is already overly cautious about even kissing Bella. :confused3

Thank you so much, Shanan!!

It's all pretty darn close anyways.
I grew up on Swedish Pancakes (what we call 'em) and it is one of the meals I can make. I have the cast iron pan so it is pretty simple. Served with Lingon or Maple Syrup - or both with my DD. My Dad was born in Saskatchewan so we like to blend Swedish & Canadian.
I make the Pulla as well...baking I do very well. My Mom always had to make hers plain as my Dad didn't like the cardamom in it.
And the cookies - Drommar, Pepparkakor, Bondkakor. I have about 6 or 8 loaves of Swedish rye bread in my freezer right now.

I am going to find some yarn sales for Katherine and we can all get together...
Maybe in April...

Sounds good!

MMMMMMm......rye bread.

Dad used to have mom get it from the Jewish Bakery....double or triple seeded.

Sorry. I thought that you said it was your four year old, and I looked at your signature and that's a son.

What a horrible night for you!!! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. How scary. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Yippee!!! Soccer is finally over. No more tournaments, no more games. Well, at least until April.

:rotfl:
All the Twigirls (and Twiguys) see the deleted scene yet? There is finger biting involved. :rolleyes1

Thanks again, Nicole. It was a rough night.

My Edward doesn't try to bite people's fingers off.

My Edward would never bite fingers... he would rather sit and stare at me all night.

Thanks, Michelle. Enjoy San Fran. That is one place in the US that I haven't been that I really want to visit.

OMG!!! That is so scary!:grouphug: I'm happy she is doing better. I hope she gets better soon!

I'm not gonna get that bothered by it Dara. :) Tracy works for DU and her duties are much more than scanning this topic daily. If I had an important question to get answered I'd email her directly or I'd take it to the DCL board and ask there. There is already an FAQ posted up at the top.

Frankly I think there are a lot of us here that over plan way too much for our own good. And then there is the all fluff and the chick peas. :lmao:

Who US? No Way!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

So, who needs a life when you can play Tetris all night long? My goal is to beat Don :) I'm passing the time while DH does his homework. I think I'm working harder, though.

Going good. I've been busy planning future trips. One of my friends is always telling me "you have a sickness". Ok, I admit it. I must always be making future travel plans.

That's how I am. I must have another vacation planned before I go on vacation.:)

On "My Name is Earl" tonight, one of the subplots was about Darnell and Joy starting up Buddybook pages (an obvious play on Facebook). At the end, Earl referred to Joy's online friends as her computernut friends. DH Phillip died laughing and hollered "Dodie, that's what you have on the DIS! Computernut friends!":rolleyes1
