Absentee cruiser checking in!!

Spent the weekend at my sister's house. I truly did not intend to do that, but that's what happened. We went over there for Thanksgiving day/dinner and then she talked me into staying overnight and going shopping with her and her MIL the next morning. So I did...I haven't seen 3am in a looooooooooooooong time. Starbuck's is my friend. We stopped shopping (finally!) and then it was time to begin the cakes for my niece and nephew's bday party that was on Saturday. Ended up staying overnight...again...then last night, after the festivities, I was so tired that I didn't want to drive home. Plus my mom was there...so I stayed again. I am home now. Finally.

That's too bad about the P&P parties. I was hoping for one the night before the cruise...but not a big deal. Now i've got more time for the Poly Beach/Wishes meet!

Last weekend, I felt like I was operating an adult daycare business. When I went to Sacramento for my neice's wedding I had to watch over my parents and two elderly aunts (all in there 70's), and while it was challenging at times (3-count 'em-3 backseat drivers!), it was a hoot spending time with them and I wouldn't have wanted to do it any other way!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy December!!! arty:
This morning it is 23°F. Outside is a mix of slush and snow, resembling a slurpee machine gone awry.
To help those of us up north battle the winter months, just a reminder that it is 159 days until "Fun on a Boat"!!!!

We have 3 inches of snow on the ground. Supposed to stop soon, but 3-6 more expected on Wednesday. Too early for them to tell me if it's coming early in the day or not. Our flight leaves at 8 am, but we have a 1 1/2 hour drive to the airport I don't want to have to drive there tomorrow night and get a hotel.

WOW! I just got done paying my bills and couldnt believe I was writing Dec 1 on them! I can not believe how time is flying by the podcast cruise will be here before we know it.

We have decided to rent a car for our trip to Disney in May. Just wondering how parking is near the port. We have decided to pay the parking fee for the 4 nights we are on the podcast cruise. Is it easy to find a parking spot or will we be circling for awhile?
