I somehow feel partially responsible for "post count counting" becoming a sport. If you didn't know how to check your post #s per thread....

Forward or Bow - Front of the Ship

Aft or Stern - back of the ship

Port - left side when facing forward (port has 4 letters so does left)

Starboard - right side when facing forward

Port WINE (HelLOOOOO??? WINOTracy!!!) is RED, so is the PORT light...

Awesome magnet Gibson! We're making one similar. Namine is a photoshop perfectionist...every thing needs to be just so, or else it winds up in the recycle bin.

Counting? Who's counting? You can count posts? Wow. There must be some really self conscious people out there to concern them selves with who has the bigger post count.

Because on a ship this big do you know where to look for the light? I don't. What J/Kim is referring to is when you see a light at night on a ship at the front of the ship, the light is red on the port side and green on the right side (ooohh - red for port wine and green and right have five letters ). I only use that example for littler boats.

A couple years ago we had someone "egg" everyone on to post a lot (we posted more than 3000 posts in a couple weeks ). We did enjoy it for a bit but it got a lot of people on that cruise meet thread angry. He did the same thing on a more recent cruise that I was on. My biggest complaint about trying to get as many posts as possible is that new people get really lost and give up and also the threads get so slow (which is why there is a limit on size). I agree it is fun at times, especially like at the end of a thread. That's why I think Mindy has a good idea with her thread about having an "AskTracy" thread. That way you can post away here and people can still find answers and important stuff elsewhere. Just my two cents

We enjoyed St. Martin, be sure to check around and know what you want before shopping. They have some good deals, but some stuff cost more than in the states. We hit Orient Beach and it was gorgeous, although St. Johns Trunk Bay was the best beach on the trip.

Have fun, bring us back some pics, especially if you go to orient beach

So it's YOUR fault then... Actually, i've been using that feature for years. I don't really use it for post count...I use it to see who's posted to a thread.

Yea, I would say that was 95 percent when we went there. The beach was really nice though...and well the 5 percent weren't bad either!

Yea, I would say that was 95 percent when we went there. The beach was really nice though...and well the 5 percent weren't bad either!

We didn't spend much time there...we were on an island tour and it was a bit rainy so we just walked up the beach and back and left. And thankfully, we went the wrong way...LOL...we went left instead of right. But I did see some topless women along the way. I really wanted to offer them a shirt

St Maarten was nice...I really enjoyed that little strip of beach by the airport. It was freaky...but really cool!
