Speaking of cake...I made a monkey cake yesterday! But I forgot to take pictures...my niece and nephew's birthdays are within 2 days of each other so for the family party, we're throwing a monkey themed party. I will be decorating a little monkey for my nephew's smash cake. I'll be sure to take pictures of the actual party cakes when they're done!

It varies from day to day. They have a different ethnic buffets most days. I've seen Chinese, Italian, American Steakhouse, West Indies to name a few. The also usually have one day with a seafood buffet. Lunch that day we get there will be just a general buffet with all kinds of salads, hot dishes, desserts, shrimp!

For dinners they have whatever is on one of the dining room menus.

On the day of the seafood buffet, there is more available than just seafood, right? It's a no-go in this house.

On the day of the seafood buffet, there is more available than just seafood, right? It's a no-go in this house.

This is the buffet only. There are other places to eat for lunch. You can eat at Tritons (sit down), Pinocchio's (pizza), Pluto's (burgers, tacos, hot dogs, nachos, chicken fingers) or Goofy's (panninis, salads, sandwiches, fruit).

Nope...I literally made the cake look like a monkey! He was just a little guy, but I used a cake pan that's supposed to make a small stand up teddy bear out of cake. We just adjusted it to make it look like a monkey instead of a bear. My sister claims she took pictures of them eating it yesterday. If they send them to me, i'll post them.

Speaking of cake (me that is). Guess who's been up since 3am? No, it wasn't Evan....

Let's see, where do I begin? Chris took today off to give himself a 4 day weekend. On the weekends, Chris gets up with Evan during the night. Well, last night I heard Chris get up with the baby and I roll over and fall back to sleep. Typical weekend, nothing new. Except last night when Chris comes back in to the bedroom and wakes me from my slumber to tell me the dogs have been sprayed my a SKUNK!!

So at 3am I get up get dressed and take the dogs to the basement to give them a bath. One of them got it really bad in the chest area, the other seems to have only stepped in the sprayed area and isn't too bad. I've already called the groomer and got them an appointment today. Since they are Bichons they have longer fur, but they can say goodbye to that and wear sweaters this winter, because they are getting shaved.

Now I've got to air out the house while the kids are in school and the dogs are getting cleaned up. It's only going to be about 50 degrees today so I'm gonna dig out the space heater and stay in my bedroom with the baby.

Oh, to top it all off, Noel (the stinky one) is limping too. She just had surgery to repair a torn ACL. If I have to pay for another surgery I'm gonna freak!
