Toying with throwing a group thing together:thumbsup2

Did you send him an invite? I did! :teeth:

Did he accept?

You are nuts! ::yes::

I know you are, but what am I??:clown: :clown: :clown:

On the TSM meet thread there is info about this. :goodvibes

Is that on the Podcast Board or elsewhere?

And can I say, I can't believe this thread is still open and the other one has 3 pages!!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Poor Tracy! :rotfl2:

I'm sure one quick call/e-mail to Webmaster Alex could end her 'misery'.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Pros to staying at Dolphin:
Don't have to use DVC points
Good rate
Might already be renting car anyway
Trying something different
Near all the DISsers

Pros to staying at BC:
SAB - missed out in November when it was too cold
Don't have to rent car if I decide I don't want to
Don't really have a use for my points if I don't use them

The only con for me is no Magical Express so I will have to take Mears. Oh, and if you really don't have a use for those pesky extra DVC points, you can always give them to me. :lmao: I say bank those points. you might decide to use them for something next year.

I just figured out what you meant by SAB (Storm Along Bay).....
Would you recommend renting points from a current owner prior to taking the plunge? We went to the 'Doorway to Dreams' store in Chicago and did the tour. I was already interested before seeing the model. Listening to the spiel and seeing it 'in person' made DP interested. Should we just trust our gut and go for it or should we be more cautious and test the waters first?

If you come to Disney every year (or at least every other year), and you like to stay at the Disney Deluxe or Moderate resorts, then it is definitely a good value. I have been a DVC member for 12 years and love it. I come 3 to 4 times a year and have 350 points. Of course you don't have to purchase that many. It is expensive, so it is not a decision to be taken lightly. But if you love WDW, and you know that you will continue to come down, then I believe it is definitely worth it.

We're officially booked at the AKL now for those 2 nights post cruise!!! We'll be doing the sunset safari on Friday night and the scurrying over to Epcot to find our fellow DATW'ers after dinner at Jiko. The good thing is that I believe wine pairings are included with our dinner at Jiko...so we'll be slightly tipsy when we find everyone!! :rotfl:

How long would it take to get a group of DIS'er through TSM if we had a meet planned for rope drop on a non-EMH morning at Hollywood Studios?

If you head to the ride right at rope drop maybe 15 to 20 minutes. I wouldn't think more than 30 minutes. I can't remember how long the ride is, but I don't think it's much longer than 5 minutes.

Your all booked Yay!:cheer2: You will have to tell us how you liked the sunset safari. I'm very interested to try it some time. Wine parings included with dinner. :) Now I reeeeeally like that.

Oh and last I heard..my sis-in-law had another doctor's appointment today and all looks good! The baby's heartrate dropped a little, but the doc didn't seem concerned. So at this point, i'm assuming that they will most definitely NOT be joining us. :)
