Welcome to the world of digiscrapping my friend. They come from all over the net, and then you need a computer program to put them together. It's total fun, but if you start doing too much of it you have to hand in your man card. Unless you have a mini gun, then you scrap with one hand and shoot people trying to take your man card with the other. Easy peasy! :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Talk about your bad days....

My DD has been calling me on her way to class this morning. There was a major accident right in front of her, due to the icy roads. She went to try to turn around, and got stuck in a ditch when she slid off the road. Finally, the emergency workers who weren't working on the major accident came over and helped her out of a ditch. She calls me to tell me that she's back on the road going to class...and someone just crashed into her. It sounded like she backed into her...I'll be back later.

Oh Mindy- hope she is ok- :grouphug:

Your pictures are wonderful, and that book is amazing! Does Shutterfly have that Disney theme? I have used Creative memories software, but the books although beautiful, are really expensive.

I'm glad you liked it. They don't have the themes though. You have to do it all yourself. That's one reason why CM costs more I'm sure. They have to pay the copyright. I scanned in a lot of the Mouse stuff from things they give you on the cruise. The front and back cover is a folder they give you full of info about signing up for another cruise while onboard.

I've never seen white merlot. Is there such a thing?

White Merlot is a white wine that is made from the Merlot Grape. It is often considered to be very similar to White Zinfandel because they are both created using the same fermentation process. White Merlot gets it diluted colour by reducing the amount of time that the grape juice is in contact with the red skins of the Merlot grapes. For White Merlot this is usually hours, as opposed to deep red wines which are typically in contact with the grape skins for weeks.
White Merlot originated in the Languedoc region of France. This region does not grow Zinfandel grapes but wanted to capitalize on the wide spread popularity of White Zinfandel wines. Also, white wines are generally more popular during the summer months because they are often served chilled and can be drunk with a wide variety of foods. (They also tend to be a lot less expensive than red wines.) Thus, the White Merlot was born.

There are a variety of White Merlot wines available. Such as, Fortant's White Merlot which is a slightly sweet white wine that sells for around six dollars a bottle. You might also look for the Beringer's White Merlot, a sweet white wine which is very similar to White Zinfandel and only costs around five dollars a bottle.

White Merlot wines from France became a near-instant hit with consumers and it didn't take long before several Napa Valley wineries also began producing White Merlot wines. White Napa Merlot wines are usually very sweet and best served chilled, making it a great summertime wine. You can expect to pay around ten dollars a bottle for most White Napa Merlot wines.

White Merlot wines are continuing to increase in popularity and, with the availability of both sweet White Merlot wines and dry White Merlot wines

I can never find it in a restaurant. That's why I need a "beer run".:drive:

Never mind, I just read your post above. That's interesting. I drink wine all the time and this is the first I've heard of white merlot. I will look for some next time I go to the wine shop.

hmmm, might have to continue paying until I figure that out. Just figured out how to add stuff to my sig here :rotfl:

Love any red- that is not sweet-
Yellowtail is my fav- merlot, shiraz, pino- anything but cabernet as it makes me turn red as a tomato- have no idea why but not pretty
Kristen and I have similar taste so will be making a wine run on the way to the ship as well :thumbsup2
Cant wait! :cool1:

WHEW!! Caught up - gone for a couple of days and this place goes crazier :rotfl2:

Thx a mint to those who posted updates of Kevin's progress :thumbsup2

Mindy, glad to hear all's fine with your DD :grouphug:

Anything exciting happen in chat last nite?

cheers,
:flower3:

I definitely like Reds. Clos du Bois Pinot Noir is one of my favorites. It's nothing fancy, but it's pretty good.

I got a little spoiled when my DH lived in Paris. You could get a decent bottle of wine for $10. Of course, a couple of years have passed since then.

AskTracy...just curious now that Jan 10 has come and gone what is the difference in pricing approximately for booking the cruise before and after that cut off date? I'm not asking for a $ difference, but say as a % what range would it be in?

Curious to know - thx :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:
