well anyone else working today like me? I don't think i have ever worked for a company that was closed on President's Day- even when I worked in Defense and our customer was the government (who was closed!)

Brandie- that plaid dress is just so cute- i love it! i am trying to avoid shopping a lot- i want to drop some weight first, so that is my motivation. No shopping for the cruise until i drop some poundage!

I'm working. I don't want to buy anything till about mid to late April.

The DIS is taking over.
We are a crazy bunch, so with or without mousefest we will celebrate.

So I've purchased dresses for the cruise...

And I got my hair chopped again...i'll have to chop it again before the cruise...

And i'll be getting new glasses tomorrow! sadI2

I'm so tired of the glasses that I have now. They're cute...but they hide my eyes. I don't even bother with makeup half the time because my eyes are so hidden! I'm going to get a pair of glasses that DON'T hide my eyes anymore! Not quite completely rimless, but pretty darned close!

The plaid dress is so cute! I wear glasses at work and hate them. But we have so much dust and dirt around hear I am always flushing my eyes. I wish I could have Lasik but I have a problem with my Cornea in my right eye. So Lasik is out of the question.

Unfortunately I had to go the cheap route for this cruise. My room is surrounded by 4 walls. But if this is what I have to do to be on the podcast cruise, then so be it.

I agree with you. I was going to go that route, but then the roommate situation popped up and I can breathe the fresh sea air......

Actually this will be my first time (and hopefully my last) in an inside cabin. I have always had either an ocean view, balcony, or suite. (I'm spoiled) It's just that Disney charges such ridiculous $$$$$ for their cruises. It would have cost like an extra $600 just to get a Navigators Veranda. Not worth it for a 4 day cruise where I'm probably not going to be in my cabin much anyway.

I had to go the cheaper route also. I got a cat 10 so the room is the same size as a window room. This will be my fist cruise without at least a window. But since I am going solo and staying at WDW for seven nights after the cruise this is what I could afford.

DH and I had an inside stateroom on our Princess cruise in 2007. The condition that I had for getting him onto the Podcast cruise was that he wanted a verandah. I'm too cheap to pay for the regular verandah cabins, so this was our compromise.

And we ended up in a somewhat regular verandah cabin anyway! But I only had to pay the cat 7 price!
