Good Morning....er Afternoon....

So Tracy clued us in to where her cabin is.....:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin.....hmmmmmmm:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

There is an inch of snow on the ground again. Three days ago it was over 60° and now were back to being part of the tundra. The water main that supplied my sub burst. Good thing we went out last night for VD.....:cool1:

Here's another clue. Look at the Fish Extender list :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

We are having a nice quiet afternoon at home. Later we are going to grab a bite to eat at our nearby mall. I think Paradise Bakery or Noodles.

DW and I have been talking about the Podcast Cruise this morning. I've informed her of some of the plans we've been discussing. She's ok with everything. What choice does she have! She's always ok with excessive Disney planning, it's one of the reasons why I love her so much.

I got my Mickey Monitor today. I notice they are giving AP holders a $50 ship board credit. Unfortunately it isn't good until June. :sad2:

Kim

Happy Valentines everyone. Hope you have a great day.

DW and I are home today with no big plans. Cleaning house - woo hoo. How fun can cleaning the oven be? :confused3 But it's Valentines Day and I cleaned it for her.

Later I'll make one of her favorites. Pork chops (Brady Bunch) and applesauce (homemade). :goodvibes

Then some movies and popcorn::

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
Well it's now official I am sick.
I have been in bed most of the day.
My FE still needs some work.
That's what happens when your not feeling well.
My bottom pocket is crooked and I am not sure how I am going to be able to fix that.
I am new at sewing.
My pockets were sewn to the front piece before the rest was put together.
DH is concerned that it may be too long. :worried:
It's 51 inches.
Does anybody know if this is too long?

Do I really need a cooler? I hadn't planned on getting any adult beverages to bring on board. I am just not a big drinker. When I cruised on Princess, they had a small fridge in the room. What do they provide on Disney? I don't remember if this has been mentioned before. I might bring on water and Pepsi. Not sure. Help please.

TIA,

Kim

I'm not bringing a cooler. The room steward will bring you an ice bucket if you ask. I plan on bringing some adult beverages and water (I don't like Evian which they sell on the ship) but a little ice from the drink station or my ice bucket will be all I need. The staterooms have a small chiller in them. It doesn't get things super cold but will keep a drink cold enough for me.

And I would only bring pepsi if you have to have it and won't drink coke products. I just get a glass of diet coke each morning from the drink station on Deck 9.

I am not bringing a cooler. I brought my drinks on in a rolling backpack last time. I didn't bring much, a bottle of wine and a couple bottles of water. We ended up not drinking most of the bottled water. It was nice to have a bottle or 2 of water when we got off the ship in Nassau, but not necessary.

I went to the Disney store today. It is quite a trip for me since the closed all but one in the Pittsburgh area. I got a really cute bathing suit for my son, Wall-E.

Hey Kim!
Totally off topic but are you still going to do the afternoon tea on the 17th.
If so can I come and how much will it cost?
Thanks
Katherine

Happy valentines day!

DH got me a very cute hoodie with Mickey of course- which he managed to purchase and stash last week without me noticing!

:thumbsup2 Purchased mickey antenna toppers- POTC tops- so I will be going with this theme, just undecided on Fabric. May actually do Little Mermaid and make it a sea theme! Just need to get shopping and get some fabric!
Havent even started the gift- but have purchased 1/2 of what I need!

Yes, I think I am still going. I figure if I get an ADR for the 2pm, that should give me enough time to have a leisurely tea and get back to the Dolphin for my town car pick up. My flight leaves at 7:55 that night. So if I get back to the hotel by 4:30, that should be plenty of time. Maybe even enough time to get one last piece of chocolate mousse cake from the Boardwalk bakery to enjoy at the airport. I would love your company, or anyone else who would like to join us.

Kim

P.S. Feel better soon

Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! We did our dinner out last night. :lovestruc

We won't be bringing a cooler or stopping anywhere for drinks to bring on the ship. The drink station on Deck 9 works out fine for "free" soft drinks and I'm preloading the onboard account with funds for adult beverages.

This trip can't come fast enough. We're dealing with some health stuff with my parents (I think I've mentioned before) and I really, really need a break. DCL, take me away!

Okay, I heard that the water on the ship is better than bottled, straight from the tap. Can anyone confirm?

I'm just bringing rum...and SoCo for DH...and maybe wine, and beer....then buying rum in Nassau....and rum cake....and some more rum.....is it May yet?

I was thinking about signing up for a snorkeling shore tour. Has anybody done that and do you recommend/not recommend? Also, is there going to be some awesome podcast party on the ship that I will miss if I get off the boat? (Such a thing has been rumored!)
