So here's an unimportant cruise question.

Why does the ship sometimes pull into the dock at CC and sometimes back in?

What time are you guys aiming for?

So I keep looking at menus...and now i'm changing my mind on where DH and I should eat on the night of our Poly meet. I'm being pulled back to Narcoosee's.

Ugh...I just can't decide!!!

Shanan and I are eating at Narcoosee's that night; it's our 5 year anniversary that day
Reeaaaaly looking forward to it, we will be trying Jiko for the first time this trip as well!

I am LOL because DH and I are planning to hit Chefs de France for lunch on that day (May15th). Lunch is so much cheaper than dinner and we love the "French menu" special (sandwich, salad, soup, and dessert).

So, who are the ladies that are making up Todd's harem? I haven't been able to keep up with this thread very well. Sorry. But my boss likes it when I do some work when I'm here. Unreasonable, I know.

After I unpacked my suitcase for my mother to borrow, she calls and tells me not to bother, she dug hers out.
But I repacked it, somewhat more efficiently. It is pretty well busting at the seams. The first time I packed it, I only packed for 6 days. Now there are 8 days. In fairness, I also had to increase my medical equipment for the longer stay, so there is a lot of 'wasted' space. In the course of the repack, I had to cut out the pirate gear and dress clothes. I need to decide if I want to pack them (extra suitcase/hanging bag to lug around & added baggage fees) or nix them and hope everything fits for the trip home.

Weather, wind and currents? The two cruises that I've been on, the Magic backed in.

Exactly! The captain would prefer to back in so if there is a change in the weather, wind or current later they just have to pull out, but if they can't back in, they will pull in straight. Also if they need to do work on certain parts of the ship, they may pull in straight for this as well, but primarily it is because of the conditions.

I'll sign up (you have to do the sign up sheet Todd, I have my own to worry about). I love Chef de France and if there is more than 1 of me eating, I might actually get to try the profiteroles this time. I am always too full to eat dessert when I go there.

I'm going to need two check-in suitcases. With all the clothes for 14 days plus all the FE stuff. Plus I think I am going to Vegas to see my family instead of going straight home. So that is 18 days.

We need headcounts for the following in order to make ADRs...

1. Crystal Palace - dinner - 5/14 - what time?

2. 50's Prime Time Cafe - 5/15 - noon?

3. Chefs de France (I think someone's got that covered already) - 5/15 - what time?

4. Tusker House - 5/16 - breakfast? what time? Or would you prefer to do EMH at DHS instead? We could do Tusker House for lunch instead...let me know!!
