I think we're going to try for T-Rex on the 8h. We usually do the dining plan, but before the trip we won't be. So, we figure that is a good time to try it. We also have the membership card.

Oh...AND...I managed to get DH to let me switch our dining preference for that first night from Spoodles to Narcoosee's! I took to heart something that Jen told me about doing things that we won't be able to do with kids in tow...and since this will probably be the last time I get DH to WDW for an all out vacation before China calls, i'm taking advantage of it! Our ADR is for 6:25pm on May 9th! :) Woooo!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:goodvibes
We have the same ADR time! See you there!:cheer2:

1:45 minutes of redials to MS only to finally get answered then more busy signals. :mic:

Well 1 hour and 45 minutes and I am through to member servives.:thumbsup2
Now the wait begins 25 minutes the recording said.
Good thing I am on the toll free #. :thumbsup2

Good luck. pixiedust: I was reading the thread on the DVC boards. I remember it was very much like this when AKV opened. I got a reservation at AKV the first day that MS opened to non-AKV and I think I almost had a heart attack.

Two hours and I'm finally on hold with music. If I get dropped I'll freak. :crazy2:

Well that totally sucks...
All that time and the best we could get was a lake view.
We bought enough points so we could have a magic kingdom view.
Then told no.

Sorry to hear that. :sad2:

After 2:30 I finally got through and switched my Oct SSR 2BR to THV's! :cool1:

Well, last night was interesting. Just as we were turning out the lights at 11:30, the carbon monoxide detector goes off. It had gone off a few weeks ago and we had the whole crew here, firefighters with the big truck, paramedics with their big rescue truck and the gas company. Other than a tiny leak in the gas pipe leading to the hot water heater (no hot water for that weekend), they couldn't find anything that caused the detector to go off. There was no reason for it to go off last night, we hadn't cooked (got chinese for dinner, it was really good), since it had been so warm yesterday the furnace hadn't been kicking on and the car hadn't been running for 6 hours previous, so no fumes from the garage. We figured it was a faulty detector. We went to bed with our bedroom windows open just in case(good thing I like it cool when I sleep) Not that I really slept. I got a lovely migraine from the worry and lack of sleep. Went to Home Depot and got a new detector at 8:30 and installed it right away. 3 hours and no alarm.

I NEED A CRUISE, NOW.

Anticipation. :beach:

That sounds really scary. I am glad everything is ok.

After listening to this week's podcast, Phillip (DH) and I decided to do something we've always talked about doing. We got an ADR this morning for the early (5:00 p.m.) show of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review on Saturday, 5/9. That will still give us plenty of time to make it over to the Poly by 9:00 for our little DIS party.

We're staying at the VWL for that one night pre-cruise, so I was also able to make our breakfast reservation for 5/10 at the Whispering Canyon Cafe. (We wouldn't be able to come over to the Epcot resorts area to join you guys at the group breakfast without some stress, so this works perfectly.)

I tried to convince the CM that our one night pre-cruise stay and our two-night post-cruise stay should "count as" a single trip reservations wise so I could go ahead and make ADRs for the after the cruise portion too, but no go. She even asked her supervisor. Two different confirmation numbers equals two different trips, so no ADRs for that second portion unless I call back next weekend.

I'm betting some of you may have gotten away with this, if you got the right CM, since mine had to ask.:rotfl:

Mine never even asked, since it was a DVC stay they can't reference the dates of your stay unless you call MS. I called the main dining line and they don't have any idea how long your stay is, they just note your confirmation number. Actually I accidentally gave them my confirm number for my xmas 09 stay and didn't realize it until I was off the phone.

Anyone booking Palo dinner? What day? Nassau, Castaway Cay or Sea day? Or sail day even? I'm thinking about Nassau day, around 8...

We're going to book Palo too, just not sure what night yet...and we'll probably book it for earlier in the evening. I'd like to enjoy the view! :)

Bad day to be doing this. BLT and THV opened today for reservations.

I called Friday to make my December reservation. I booked the 6-16th. I have never booked that many days before.

Let us know how it works out. I would love to stay at BLT someday.

We were so looking forward to a MK view, but now we are waitlisted for it.
Yeah....good luck.
Could have got 2 days in a 1br MK view during the middle of the week but that would involve moving twice during Mousefest and I really didnt want to lose that time moving.
Anyone ever have any luck with getting a week long waitlist?

Well that totally sucks...

You tried darling, we still have a long time for a waitlist to come through.

Sorry to hear that. :sad2:

I want to stay in a THV sometime.
