I have a full sized Chi Hair Dryer too and it is awesome. I think the full size is about $100 and I got a special on the mini hair dryer and mini straightner. I just looked and there is a set on Ebay for about $70. The mini hair dryer is about as powerful as a regular hair dryer and I love it too.

I figure $100 is nothing compared to what I spend on my hair in a year between cuts and highlights and I have to blow it dry everyday. I am good at justifying purchases.

Chi is a brand name. They make a lot of hair care electronics. They are famous for their straightners.

Happy Monday to everyone! I'm trying to catch up on the weekends posts.

From what I know it's about a week before they are up and around.
Eight to ten for fully back to normal.
He has to get beeter fast.
I just got a call.
Have to leave for a few days.
My Biological father is on his death bed, they say it won't be long now.
So I need to take the boy's and go.
I have to see him one last time.
Our relationship is strained to say the least.
My boy's don't know him, so this will not faze them, I might even be able to get someone to watch them while I go to see him.
He lives 2 hours away from here.
He is near the family farm though.
I am taking the boy's down there for a couple of days, to make maple syrup.
I am not lucky like Nicole, I don't have a laptop.
There's no computer where I am going.
I bet this thread will be closed by the time I get back.
I will be leaving either tomorrow or Monday.
When I leave will depend on how John is doing.

I just got back from 1.5 miles of running. I was buckled over for a while afterwards. If there is any good news I didn't stop during the run. a nice steady pace.

Went tanning...ahhhhh...I have missed my 10 minutes of doing absolutely NOTHING...

I also went swimsuit shopping. I've tried a few different stores but ended up at Kohls this morning and scored 2 suits! I'm undecided on one of them...but DH really likes the other one.

First one This is the one that DH really likes
Second one top (bought in black, not brown)
Second one bottom (bought in black, not brown)

I like those.

I have another manly question. I am looking for a new lipstick brand. The one I have been using is very creamy and feels good going on, but I haven't been able to find it around lately. I wanted to get some new colors for spring and summer and a certain cruise I am going on in 56 days.

Any suggestions?

I use Coco Chanel. I don't use lipstick though. I use a colored lipgloss.

Actually it was just the stop at Kohl's so I didn't get anything else. DW could find nothing there. We got a late start after visiting with my grandmother and DW came out with her favorite catch phrase. "I'm getting weak in the knee's." So it was home to fix dinner.

I think they are way worse than hotel hair driers. It's this weird giant hose. I am definitely bring my own. I have a mini-Chi hair drier and it is the best thing ever.

Someone posted that they weren't as good and if you are picky, bring your own.

That's great Anna! I love walking, but running is something totally different. Running is hard on my knees, ankles, and legs in general. Plus the whole burning lungs thing isn't for me. But, because I'm still relatively young I can handle it. Let us know how it goes, okay?

I am debating swim suits from Lands End. I am different sizes on the top and bottom so I need to get a 2 piece that is sold separately. This is one of the tops I'm considering. Either in the blue or black with a black bottom swim skirt. I don't want solid black.

I was thinking of going for another 2 piece that is navy.

I'm hoping they have a sale before I buy them.

At this moment I'm a little worried about Dara. She was suppose to have the DH talk last night and she hasn't been back here in almost a day. Not like her. Hopefully everything is ok.

Wow. Now I know why I had this urge to get online tonight. My DIS buds were concerned about me. Lisa sent me a PM on FB so I thought I better come over here and set your minds at ease.....

So, yeah, I had the DH talk. I was a nervous wreck all day yesterday and just couldn't come on here. I waited for DH to kinda initiate the conversation after he got home but when he didn't, I did. He said, "Say whatcha need to say and be done with it." *sigh* Not a good start. Anyway, to make a long story short, I did most of the talking and got it all out in the open. Did it solve anything? Not really. Not yet anyway. I think he needs a bit of time to process it all. (That's ok. I'll give him 1 week.) As of right now, he's (grudgingly) going on the trip. Not sure that's a good thing though. What's he gonna be like? Is he gonna ruin it for me and DD? I wish I could share a lot more about this with you guys but DH thinks all I do is talk about him behind his back to you guys as it is. (For the record, I never talked about DH until recently and I really haven't said much.) If you haven't guessed already, DH really hates it when I'm DISing.

Well, it's taken quite awhile to compose this. I had to keep editing because I felt I was divulging too much info. All is ok though. Time will tell. I'll keep ya posted on any progress (or lack there of).

I don't know if it's going to make you feel better or not, but yours is NOT the only "difficult" husband getting brought on this trip.

I only recently got him to agree to come. Gave him the ultimatum with the airline tickets, then "accidentally" ran into him by the AAA office and told him it might be a good idea to get a passport pic while we were there. Yeah, I know, I'm devious.

I swear I'd have a better time without him, but if I went without him, I might as well not bother coming home. He'd be impossible to live with.

He's not a bad guy...just different.

Hang in there. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Find a way to enjoy your good fortune, and ignore the bad.

Oh, I wanna play the bathing suit game! As much as I HATE to bathing suit shop, DD15 and I went shopping this week. After much disappointment (mine, not hers!), we both ended up with a suit:

I printed them to try to get DH excited about some of the activities. I think he is a little bit scared about the Sea Day. I see there is Wii Bowling. I know he will love that.

I have some of the same problems, besides be very out of shape.
I think I will bring my camera a take some pictures. It is a beautiful day here. It is already 50 degrees. I will be going along the river also. I will post them tonight.
