First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise, 11th and Final Thread

My iPhone's going to go into "airplane mode" when the ship pulls out of Port Canaveral and won't go back into phone mode until we return.

Same here Jeff. I'll use the phone to take some photos during the cruise and then upload these to Photobucket and Facebook once we are back in port.

Shhhh. Phillip is actually standing in front of his closet thinking about which of his Disney tropical shirts (he has SEVERAL) he is going to take on the trip. Of course, in his eyes, it's way too soon to think about actually packing. That will happen at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, but it's a step in the right direction as far as I'm concerned!

Oh. And I'm a little concerned that one of the tropical shirts that may make the trip is the non-Disney one that's his favorite - DOGS PLAYING POKER. Seriously

Without looking all over, can someone please tell me the amount for gratuities? I called to pay that today and I never wrote it down assuming whichever agent I spoke with would know. I thought $48, but I couldn't remember for sure.

$48 is the correct amount Nicole.

I cannot believe I have just started packing for this trip! It doesn't seem real!

My DH, Jeff, just called and told me he was in the emergency room getting stitches in his hand! He cut it at work today. I told him, "You know you aren't supposed to get hurt right before vacation!" Hopefully, all is well, and he will be able to swim and stuff this weekend. I have no idea what it looks like yet, but keep your eye out for the guy with the huge bandage around his hand!

I guess it can't be too bad...he's going to the Cardinal game tonight with one of his friends this evening..

I just looked back through my emails to figure out when I actually booked the cruise - I have been booked for over 16 months!!!! This is the longest I have ever planned for a trip in my life and I can hardly believe it is almost here.

That's our plan as well! Shortly before we depart, we'll throw both of our iPhones into airplane mode so that we don't have any surprises when we return!

I know I made some calls on my Verizon cell in Nassau and it was pretty reasonable. It ended up being less than $1. I know I also received some income texts and I never was charged for those. I still kept my phone off most of the time.

I planned to get to the airport by about 5:45am or so...I think our flight leaves at 7:45am...if we're there early enough, wanna meet for breakfast at the airport? I'm not sure what's there...or what's available after we've passed through security...

Our flight leaves at 7:22 a.m. We're leaving home at about 5:00, so we should be there by 5:30 or so. We're on AirTran. You guys are on Southwest right? With the new airport, I'm not sure how close the gates are - but we'd be willing to say or grab a bite maybe. I cannot promise how civil or outgoing I'll be at 5:45/6:00 a.m. There is a lot of stuff past security and you can actually get from one set of gates to the other (A to B) without going back through security again.

O.K. I think this will be my last post before
we leave for WDW!

In 14 hours we will be in the air and on our way!

I can't beleive it's this close.

I have the carry-ons to sort out. Everything is packed.
I didn't think I was a shoe person, but my total is 8
1 pair of crocs
1 pair of running shoes
2 pairs of flip flops( 1 is a croc set).
2 pairs of dress sandals, John said I could bring both as I didn't have as many pairs as Alicia.
1 pair of black high heels
1 pair of metalic silver high heels.

I also wanted to say I got our phone bill. It was really nice talking to some of our new friends. All phone calls were free, just as I was sure they would be.
At this moment I am loving the phone company.
However I don't think they love me quite as much.
