They told me to turn off my email. I never used my cell on that cruise though. I took the battery out of my cell. I have a blackberry so I can take the battery out.

DH was showing me how to turn off the cell portion of my blackberry last night - I have WiFi on it so it may pick up my email if I leave the WiFi on.

My DH, Jeff, just called and told me he was in the emergency room getting stitches in his hand! He cut it at work today. I told him, "You know you aren't supposed to get hurt right before vacation!" Hopefully, all is well, and he will be able to swim and stuff this weekend. I have no idea what it looks like yet, but keep your eye out for the guy with the huge bandage around his hand!

I guess it can't be too bad...he's going to the Cardinal game tonight with one of his friends this evening..

I have been trying to enforce the 'no getting hurt before vacation rule' - so far so good...hope all is well with him.

Okay, I have started to put stuff in suitcases and I feel like a:

Wow, I can check-in for my flight tomorrow morning, before I go to work! Somehow, that's just wrong. My vacation should start from the moment I'm checked in.

It's actually a lot of fun to watch this thread slowly dissipate as people leave for their trips. See you all soon!

I was just thinking - I am so used to having time off before travelling - I don't know how I will manage this fall - coming off a night shift & leaving the next day.

I am going to be a mess!!!!! First time away from the kids and I am already getting a lump in my throat just thinking about it.

Where is my drink?

I hear you...try putting you 15 yr old daughter on a bus 30 minutes before you have to go to the airport she is going away with her team to Hershey Pa in 2 days for a cheerleading competition this weekend. Those bus drivers drive too fast then I lay awake at night hoping she doesn't get hurt during the competition too. Not only that I am totally stessed out here...I need to pack me and my husband plus my dd for her trip and my son will be staying here at home with my mom but I need all the meals cooked for them and of course I need to clean my house a little more than normal for my mom so I hear you when you say ...where is my drink because I think I need two!!!

I hate leaving my baby behind. (probably why she is coming on this trip!)

Tooth is doing alright. Need to schedule an extraction. The dentist took our the loose sharp part that was causing the bleeding and most of the pain. Mom seems to think I should have it done before I leave.

Mom Knows....do you have time to get in?


and on that note - I am off to the dentist again this morning. DD did well yesterday. At least I can crochet in my little corner while they work on her.

Safe travels to all those leaving today.

I don't fly out until Saturday early and I have to work all week.

Could someone please post the date of the next podcast cruise once the show is up. I can't listen to streaming audio at work and no wifi so I can't download the podcast to my Iphone. The suspense is killing me.

OK, I just went to the Disney site to see if any of the All Stars had rooms on the 17th, just in case. It quoted me
$400 for ONE night.

What is up with that? Seems wrong to me.
