First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise, 11th and Final Thread

Morning Peeps! :wave2:

So who's excited this morning!?!?!?
Who's going to be pumping their fists as they pass under the Walt Disney World arch?
Who's thinking of their favorite food to enjoy next weekend?
Who's hitting the high seas in approximately 1 week?
Who's going to be among family and friends in the Happiest Place on Earth soon?

What are you most excited about?! :rolleyes1
I am most excited about meeting my BFF and all of the other folks I have grown to love around here!

Good Morning, Dudes and Dudettes!

Got my flatties completed (no changes of wardrobe, however...but I'll figure out this "laminate" business so when you spill food, we can just dip you in the ocean and clean you off).

Got the suitcases out and starting to organize the packing.

Going to pay my bills today so they don't foreclose on the house whilst I'm gone. Got to try to figure out some conflicts on my schedule (schedule? What schedule?).

Got to buy cat food, and kid food, so the kids come home to feed themselves and I hope remember to feed the cats.

This is it. My last day off to do all the prep work. I have to work straight through until the cruise. If it doesn't get done today, it simply doesn't get done.

If I don't have a chance to post again.....See You REAL soon!
Morning Mindy! Good luck getting your stuff done!! Thankfully I still have the rest of the week to get my stuff together...:thumbsup2

:cool1: Cannot beleive it is sneaking up this quick... will have to start planning soon  What in the world will everyone talk about when (if) we get back... ohhhh wait, we can start discussing Podcast Cruise II :thumbsup2 Just think, Tracy gets to monitor a whole new set of boards for a year or so... :rotfl:

Rick (on the BAD list)

:wave2: Morning!!

One week from this very moment...we will be in the air on our way to Orlando!! :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay: And I will be mere hours away from meeting my BFF!! :dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Me! Me! Me! Right now I am thinking about Earl of Sandwich.

:banana::banana: I am so excited a week from right now we should be landing in MCO! Wow! I can not wait! :cool1::cool1:

We should be getting on the plane right about now. I am so excited maybe I should try to switch to the earlier flight.

I wish i could bump my flight earlier but it already leaves newark at like 6:20 am :scared1:

There is a 6:30 flight out of Pittsburgh but I am scared to take it. We are leaving around 9:30 which means we have to leave the house around 7.

We are leaving the house around 4 am for a 6 am flight (only 20 minutes to the airport).

:wave2: Good morning everyone!

I'll add my "one week from right now" sentiments by saying that we have a very early flight as well (leaves Indy at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday morning), so we'll likely be on DME or already checking in at VWL one week from right now.

I'm trying not to think about having to leave the house at 5:00 a.m. that morning:scared1: (we're only about 20 minutes from the airport too) and am hoping that my excitement carries me late into the evening on the Poly beach without a crash.

Well I have some sad news . . . After two wonderful years, my bunny Baxter has passed away . . .He passed away in my arms this afternoon. He will be missed!!I so need a vacation now!!!

Shelly - I'm sorry about your bunny. Those critters are near and dear to our hearts and it's hard. Hugs.

Thank you for all the welcome aboard message and I look forward to this trip.

:woohoo:Welcome! I can't imagine what it was that "pushed you over the edge" at this late date, but better late than never!!!!

My flight leaves at 6:50 am on Thursday. I am taking a cab to the airport. That way I don't need to be completely conscious for the drive. No going to an off site parking place. I figure if I get picked up at 4:30, it should only take 1/2 to get to the airport. Even if it takes a little more, it shouldn't matter at that time of the morning. I am guessing I can be in the Magic Kingdom by 10:30.

This is unreal. I'm sitting here - catching up on shows I missed last week - writing the beginning of the DL trip report - and realizing that 1 week from this moment, I will be on a bus to DTD to meet up for lunch at Earl!

I am truly blessed! :cloud9:

What are you most excited about?! :rolleyes1

I am most excited about EoS, spending time with my family and friends on land and sea, and just being at my Happy Place for 10 days.

We're actually on a flight that leaves right before lunch -- it will be weird not getting up before the sun rises to make it to the airport on time! I'm sure our airport transportation (my 80 yr old dad!) is very pleased. :teeth:

Just stopping in to say hello.

One week from today, I will be over the crankiness caused by getting up at 5am to see my Muddy Buddies.

It seems impossible that its all just 7 days away. It seems that we have been planning this for a year and a half. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I can not tell you how much I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you.....some for the first time and having the chance to get reaquainted with others.

A lot of life has happened in the last 15 months. I think it's time to celebrate the good and put the not so good stuff behind us.

Here's to safe travel, new and old friends and one freaking amazing adventure.

I'm looking forward to sometime away from my real life.

I 'm looking forward to spending sometime with my Mom.

I'm looking forward to seeing six guys crawl thru the mud.

The thing I am most looking forward to meeting all of you, FINALLY! After 17 months, it feels so strange but yet exciting to say, see you next week!!!!

Pixie Dust and Prayers needed...

8 weeks ago, my cousin was playing with his daughter, tripped over a toy and fell down the stairs. He has been in a coma since. He is showing no signs of brain activity and has developed pneumonia. His family has decided to remove his feeding tube and the doctors say it will just be a matter of days before his body shuts down.

He is young... 39.

I am heartbroken. Chances are, he will pass while we are on vacation. I have all kinds of guilt about leaving town. I can't get motivated to pack or do anything else vacation related because I can't stop thinking about Muppy (his nickname), his parents, brother, wife and daughter.

If you can spare a good thought or two for Muppy, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.
