I'm a newbie too!! Just booked this morning for our first ever cruise! We are going on the Halloween on the High Seas cruise on Oct 15 2018 on the Dream!!

Thanks to DisBoards, and MANY hours scouring the threads, I knew exactly what I wanted when my TA called me this morning. All the info she gave me, I already knew!

Been reading Disboards for years. First cruise booked on Dream, double-dip Castaway Cay, 5 night, June 1 - 6, 2018. Am driving my husband crazy talking about cruise - a year before sailing. After 40 years he has learned to say "uh huh" now and then while not hearing a word I say. I absolutely love reading trip reports and doing research.

now need to go to your Disney Cruise line meetup board to see who else is on as well as if you want to join a FE group... also you will now be hooked in log in to the website to watch when you can book your adventures and see what you can do on ship or what events are happing.

Disney sets a high level, when it comes to the Cruise. i know i will not go any other cruise line just Disney, the attention they give you from having the person who serves you dinner the 1st day to the same person the last day is great. you get that bond and by the 2-3 night they already have your drink ready and can recomand the food you like. its something we love.

We are celebrating our 25th on this booked cruise (if we make it LOL).... I booked our first family Disney trip a year in advance And my hubby didn't enjoy me obsessing over the plans for that long..... I will enjoy reading here to keep from annoying my real life family
