First DVC Reservation

We are pretty excited. Just reserved our first trip to Animal Kingdom Kidani with Savannah view as a member of the DVC for November 22 - December 2. My DD7 and DW are excited also. Going to try at the 7 month period to do a split stay at BLT with a MK view if we are able. Learned allot about points with the CM on the phone when making the reservation. Hopefully next year will be easier since I understand it now.

Congratulations, and Welcome Home! You and your family are going to love Kidani savanna view. You should definitely consider dining at Sanaa -- it's one of our favorite WDW restaurants.

Getting MK view at BLT during that time of the year will be very difficult. We stayed in a BLT LV studio in October which was very nice. If I were you, I would call at 9AM at the 7 month mark, and if MK view was not available, I would wait list a LV studio and/or 1BR (if you have enough points). It was great to walk to the elevator and see the monorail and castle and walking to MK was so convenient. Unfortunately, if you do not own at BLT, getting MK view is very difficult, especially during the time of year you are traveling.

i would do this. we own at BLT and also just booked our very first trip for 12/3 to 12/13. wanted a theme park studio the whole stay and although we called EXACTLY 11 months (but in the afternoon, since i was working) we were put on a wait list for the first night. (the rest i did get right away) i did get a email 2 days ago alerting me that i got my wait listed first night fullfilled.

Congratulations and welcome home. I have to agree with Kidanifan08. Sanaa is one of my favorite places to eat next to Jiko's. We stayed at Kidani this past December and had a great time. We booked BLT MK view the last week of April with less than 7 months and was shocked. So don't give up. However, December is a very busy month for dvc. Have a magical vacation.
