Changing this thread to my first draft plan now I've gotten my head around the timings a bit better. What do you all think?

Day 1

Train arrives at midday. So I'm going to be optimistic and say into park at 1pm.

Wander Main Street a little and soak in atmosphere before...

Inventions Lunch 2pm.

Then rest of evening/afternoon in parks. If we start lagging we'll nip back to hotel for an hours' break at either 5pm or 8pm.

Day 2

Into park at 8am for EMH.

Back to HNY for breakfast between 9 amd 9.30

Back to parks then pop to Salon Mickey before it shuts for a coffee.

Do what we fancy all morning, early afternoon. (See Stars & Cars)

Then I'm sure we'll need an afternoon break that day to make another late night after two late nights and early mornings in a row. So a bit of a relaxing afternoon with dinner at

Manhattan Restaurant 6 or 7pm

Then back to the park for Dreams.

Day 3 - My birthday

Slow morning get up and have breakfast when we do. (Will set an alarm for 9am just in case!)

Then head to Salon Mickey to get our VIP Fastpasses (why I'm being uncharacteristically calm about missing EMH)

Do what we fancy all day. (Tower of Terror challenge)

Dinner at 6.30pm in Walts
, hopefully say it's my birthday, please can I have a window seat. And watch parade from there.

Stay on to watch Dreams.

Day 4 - hometime

Up and out for EMH

Back to hotel for breakfast and to check out before heading to the station for our early train back.

What do you recon?

I'm turning everything on its head for our trip in June, and eating our main (table service etc) meal at lunchtime instead of dinner.

It's a good plan.

Thinking of doing Inventions lunch too, and then maybe a Manhattan dinner one night....

im doin same as elaine - as think its the only way i can fit things in!!!

Yeah i'm doing the same too - i've swapped lunch & dinner around on days i want to see the parade. I'm really not into eating late... so not starting my dinner any later than 6.30pm is preferable.

Looks like a great plan. I think we have decided to miss EMH one morning this trip too. Late nights and early mornings just don't go together well :confused3. We are going to be having big lunches on the days we want to see the parade but I'm finding it a bit difficult to find a sensible time for lunch when we will be hungry after our big breakfast but not too late that we won't have time to nap!

We're also doing our main meal at lunch time as opposed to eating in the evening which is what we usually do; to coincide with the new Park parade and Dreams show.

Thinking that meals at lunch-time may be less busy with the longer opening hours??

I'm in the same boat - I can't eat later than 6:30 pm as hunger often triggers my migraine.:(

We all seem to be on the same page. :)

I really want to see the parade properly at least once. So we'll do that on arrival day. :)

I suppose we could swap Walts to a lunch too if we fancied. But I'd love the chane to watch the parade from the restaurant. And with a big breakfast and salon Mickey I think we'll be OK to wait for food until 6 or 7. Should help me make it through to Dreams too, bit of energy.

I can't each much later than 7 but I'm hoping eating early will mean places are quiet. As I imagine the majority of people will get dinner after the parade.

I do feel it's a shame to miss EMH one day. But it'd be more of a shame to miss Dreams I think. So a 2 extra hours sleep ready to use our FPs to the max will hopefully be a worthwhile trade off. :)

It is difficult to find a good time with this new timetable!

Jo - I'm with you in that with a big breakfast (and DLH & HNY provide good hearty breakfasts esp the DLH!), and then a trip to Salon Mickey (for us) mid to late morning, I'm not sure how we will be hungry for a sit down lunch? So, the days I am doing this, I'm thinking 2.30 pm ish for the 'lunch' :confused3. When I've stayed at the DLH in the past I've always overindulged in the breakfast - it's impossible not too! So have often felt really full for ages afterwards!! :rotfl2:

The way things are going though, the restaurants might be full at lunchtime and quiet between the parade ending and Dreams starting! :lmao:

I don't expect we'll need anything big to eat at all the morning we're having our late DLH breakfast (thats also our VIP fastpass day), until not long before the parade. So we might do Plaza that day, or maybe make a reservation for Blue Lagoon if its open for dinner, around 5.30pm or so.
