I think that is per day.

It's for an all day pass...I believe you can go back and forth as much as you want. They have 3 day passes saves you more...only $10 for adults, $2 for kids.

Yes I do sincerely understand and appreciate the lifeguard's duties and concerns. Just pointing it out that yelling on top of her lungs weren't exactly needed at that point, as DS was right across her. It was a bit extreme imho. Also, could you pass a message to them? "Put a smile on your face."

Maybe the lifeguard was actually yelling to get YOUR attention, not his? Afterall, it is the parents responsibility to supervise their own children. The LIFEguard (not babysitter) was attempting to accomplish two things at once:

1. Remedy an unsafe situation for ALL children in the play area. Rule breakers don't just jeopardize their own safety, they also unfairly jeopardize the safety of all others using the facility.
2. Capture the attention of a parent negligent in their duties of supervising their own children.

If the parent had adequately instructed his/her own child as to the rules of acceptable behaviour for the play area, and then watched said child to make sure they were complying, the lifeguards could be all smiles and happiness all the time.
