First Disney World Trip

You are? I thought Day #1 was listed as arriving at 9 pm, but then you had yourself taking Magical Express at 8:30 on Day #2. That's why I'm confused, lol.

Honestly, I would go for a moderate so you have more park time. I don't do split stays, and we go longer, so this looks exhausting to me. I would choose a moderate, use the extra money for parks, and reduce the time in dtd

But the transportation of The Moderates, I personally love The look of Carribean beach resort and port Orleans riverside, but I love the look of wilderness lodge the boat or MK, to Chef Mickey's, I want to try whispering canyon cafe, the wilderness lodge beach overlooking the contemporary, the rustic wooden rooms which remind me of my childhood visits to Missouri.
Then your second plan sounds really good, since you have the whole day to enjoy. I guess bell services will be taking your luggage to WL?

I, too, am curious why your flight is 9 p.m. one night, then DME the following morning. Are you flying overnight?

Me too. Definitely

Yes I am flying overnight and will arrive at 7:56 ( 8 AM )
Will it be better for me to just stay at Carribean Beach or Port Orleans Riverside, and if so please tell me me which is better

I'm going to go against the crowd here and say that your second version of the Wilderness Lodge plan sounds best to me, and I wouldn't switch to a moderate. If you're set on only having 2 park days, I'd rather have a down day at a beautiful resort like that, along with the easy access to Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, since you're wanting to do a meal there. I don't think the split stay is that stressful if you don't have a park planned for your transfer day. I would take a taxi between resorts, though.

Can you guys please tell me if this is a good , but short itinerary

Is the bus to Wilderness Lodge on day 3 you are on the last one? Reason I am asking is Illuminations is at 9:30 and if you are staying until 9, then it might be worth staying the extra half hour or so.

CTDisneyFan816 I meant till closing j though it closes at 9 , both parks all day morning to night were getting the most out of our first trip! I am staying for illumination and wishes

If doing a moderate meant you could upgrade your park tickets I'd do that. My parents like port Orleans. Are you traveling with kids? All day can be a lot for them to handle if you are. If I was flying all night I would plan my down day for my arrival day, allowing for delays etc, then pools and a dinner reservation . Then day 2 & 3 at parks and home on day 4.

No matter where we stay we are limiting ourselves to 2 theme park days and 3 nights for money reasons, and we don't want to take our son out of school for too long. He will be 14 when we go, so he could handle theme parks all day and night, besides we live in Southern California and have Disneyland Passes.

I would probably choose to upgrade the tickets to a 3rd day and stay at CB (we loved it in April). I would not find a full day of things to do in DTD, especially with all the construction. I would probably do AK on your arrival day then back to the resort for some down time/pool time/napping (I was exhausted after flying all night) and head to DTD for dinner.

EDIT: sorry started my post before I saw yours about the 2 theme park days!

Either CBR or POR would be nice. I would downgrade the resort, spend first day checking in, relaxing and swimming. Then head to DTD for the evening. The boatride from POR is convenient and nice.

Definitely like this plan better than your original!

Day #2 - take DME at 8:30 am to All Stars and check in, THEN go to Epcot for the day.
Day #3 - book Uber in the am to take you to Wilderness Lodge in the morning to check-in, then you can relax by the pool & enjoy the resort, have dinner at Chef Mickey's, and then perhaps head to Downtown Disney for the evening.
Day #4 - Magic Kingdom for the day
Day #5 - enjoy leisurely morning at WL then DME to airport at 10. :(

No, no, no. Stay at Wilderness Lodge with the above plan - I think it works just fine. Sounds like you have your heart set on this resort and with a few minor changes, I don't think it'll be stressful for you at all!

Thank you three boys mom, I really like the look I've seen and heard of wilderness lodge I just knew 3 nights at Wilderness lodge is two much and I don't want all 3 at a moderate or Value so I wanted a plan that will work around one night at value and two nights at wilderness lodge

I don't think anyone else mentioned this, but Disney will transport your luggage between resorts on a split stay. So instead of taking the bus back to the resort you checked out of that morning, take the bus back from Epcot (or whichever park you end up choosing that day) to WL and your luggage will already be there. That will help and spare you the cost and headache of a cab or uber.

Yes, I think that sounds like a better plan.
How do you know you wouldn't like a moderate? 1/3 of your current trip is staying at a value. POFQ and CB are the two I've stayed at and loved them! I would personally stay in a moderate for 3 nights. You will hardly be in the room with the plan you have.

I second POFQ :lovestruc

Yes , but I decided on doing epcot on day 2 instead of 3 so after epcot I will be having the night at all star movies

It doesn't matter which park you leave from or which day... the point is that they will take your luggage for you from one resort to another.

I know but, I still have to take A TAXI to get there my self I don't need to bring my luggage. I am not vising a park that day so I don't have to take a bus to a park , it is my rest day. I k
