First Disney trip! :D

So I finalized all the reservations today for my first Disney trip!
Hubby is coming home from deployment, so we decided to use his leave for the trip!
We leave the 24th and we're staying for a week, so we'll be there through the halloween celebration.
I've made reservations to eat at The sci fi theater, Captn' Jacks, Tony's Town Square, The hoop dee doo revue, Rainforest Cafe, and San Angel Inn mexico at epcot.
Any opinions on these places?

Anyway just wanted to share and see if anyone had eaten at any of these places.

also, i'm kind of a big girl, 5'4 and 250 lbs, and i'm a little nervous about rides

That's awesome that you're going to WDW for the first time! I hope you and your husband have a magical time. I've never been to any of the restaurants that you'll be going to, so I can't be of much help to you. You can probably find some really great reviews and food pictures on the Disney restaurant board.

You won't have any problems on the rides. We met a young lady during our last trip who was absolutely set free about her weight (she was 5'5" and 280 lbs) while at Disney because she rode everything and fit!!!! I never thought about the limitations she was expecting and what a damper that would put on her trip. She cried when she fit in Rock-n-Roller, Space Mountain, and Expedition Everest. It was awesome to hear her talk about how accommodating Disney had made their rides for "people of size"!!! You go and have fun and don't worry!!!!!!! Do try and walk a lot before you leave so your legs build up some endurance---this is sound advice for all of us, no matter our size.

Sci Fi is a dark restaurant. It simulates an old fashioned drive in movie theater. The food is somewhat good but atmosphere is fun.
As for the rides, you should be able to ride just about anything and everything you want. Enjoy your first trip to Disney and your time with your husband.

I LOVE the San Angel Inn! The food is awesome and it has such a great atmosphere!
