First Disney, Then Universal

We are going on a big family trip again. We are starting out with Disney, staying at Coronado and then switching to one of the Universal hotels that offers Express Pass.

For those of you who do this, how do you normally switch? Mears said, via a phone call, they cannot accommodate the 10 of us. Tiffany towncar is too rude and expensive. We do not do uber and lyft. We really need something that can take 10 people along with their bags. (about 9 small carry-ons that can sit in our laps and 9 standard-size check-in bags)

Happy Limo is a great service, but they cannot accommodate the bags, just the people.

You could rent a 15-passenger van from Alamo for a day. The driver would probably need to return it to WDW and find another way back to UO.

The 15 passenger van or Uber/Lyft is your best bet for price. Why no Uber/Lyft?

With that many people and bags you may just need 2 vehicles. Split the party up and it shouldn’t be a problem.

We do Disney then Universal all the time but we always use Uber or Lyft so I guess our method isn't any help if you don't do that.

With that amount of luggage and people, you are probably going to have to split up. I always use Uber between WDW and UO, but that's usually with just two or three people.
I would reach out to Tony Hinds (just love him) and see what he would suggest. He has a large vehicle that can accommodate a bunch of you and your bags, then he can bring someone else in to take the rest of you. I don't think you're going to find one vehicle that will take 9 people and 9 bags.

We used them for our group of 19 with a ton of luggage for a 7 nt cruise. This was several years ago but they were great. It was a mini bus or something like that. We ended up with many empty seats but we had to go extra large to hold all the bags.
