First Disney Dollars!!!!!!

Well, both the boys got straight A's on their report cards! So, off I went to the local Disney Store to purchase their first Disney Dollars for our trip in Feb!!! I got Disney Mania looking at all the cool stuff, but I was very good, and only got 2 $5 Donald Duck Dollars!!! I had parent/teacher conferences after school, so I presented them to the boys at the Conference in front of their teachers. They were SOOOO excited, this is their first tangible thing they've had for the trip!!

Oh.. and on a "proud mommy" note, they both won awards today at school: Ashe got "Lifeskill Learner" (for kids who exhibit caring behavior), and he and Rowan both made Honor Roll, as got Accelerated Reader awards!!! WOOHOO!!

I thought I was going to have to wait until we get to WDW to trade in for Disney Dollars. So instead of saving hundreds of dollars for spending money, and have it in a piggy bank tempting me to spend it, I can buy Disney Dollars. Then put them in the Mickey Mouse head painted piggy bank, and not be tempted to spend it because stores won't take them.

Congrats to the DS on the grade and have a magical trip.

Thank You! Yea, I thought it was really cool that I could by DD at the Disney Store. If I had just given them $5, it would have been gone in slushies and tape (don't ask) in no time.
