First time cruisers with our DD's who will be 6 and 8 when we travel. Not sure how the Oceaneer Club works for the girls?
Also, what excursions would be best?
We will be on the Dream in June on the two stops at Castaway Cay cruise.

Oceaneer's Club is available pretty much all day/night (roughly 9:00 am to midnight). You register the girls during your online check in process. And then pick up their bands either in the terminal or onboard the ship. They use those for "signing in" at the club.

They can be in there all day, or only those hours that you wish them to be. There a many activities that are offered in the Club throughout the day. Also, there is an Open House time on each side of the Club at least once a day, where you can accompany your child in to play with them.

My preference on Castaway Cay, is just to walk around and enjoy a leisurely day.

Know that lunch and dinner will be served in the Oceaneer Club (at least it was as of 2 years ago). And it was good food (hot and cold). One of the things I like about DCL the kids areas don't shut down for lunch / dinner. My kids loved staying there to eat though we made them come to dinner with us a few times.
