I have cruised before but not with DCL, and I have a couple of questions. It will be just my son and I as my hubby hates to travel.

My son has seen the commercials and wants a massage (he's 6) do they stick to the over 18 rule?

My son has adhd and other issues will they allow me to participate in kids club with him, although he'd probably be ok on his own...I'd have more fun with him.

What are the sizes of tables? No. of diners I mean?

I see they rent tux's, for children as well?

I can only travel in Jan. which 7 day would give me the best chance at warm weather, eastern or western?

Hi Tracey!

They definitely stick to the over 18 rule for massages, they will not do children.

Yes, you can participate with your child in the programming to some degree. If there are medical issues that DCL should know about in advance you should let them know with their Medical Clearance Form.

Table sizes range from 4-10 (somtimes more). If you have a specific table size you'd like to request you can have that added to your reservation. They won't guarantee it but you can request it.

Yes, you can rent a tux for your son but honestly I don't think it's necessary, most kids do not dress up that much for formal night. :)

We had AWESOME weather on our Western Caribbean cruise this past December. You'll have about the same temps whether you decide to go Eastern or Western.

Enjoy your cruise! :)

Thanks for the quick response.

My son is on a number of medications so a form would be necessary, and I'd probably participate with him as much as possible.

I'd prefer a small table number like 4 as my son doesn't do well with larger numbers.

I only ask about the tux because my son actually loves to dress up. Every time we go to our local childrens shop, he begs me to buy him a tux. I refuse to buy one as he's growing so quickly but he'd actually be in 7th heaven if I rented him one for formal nt on the cruise. Strange I know!

I'm glad to hear about the weather I think I'm leaning towards the Western cruise.
