Sorry to read about what happened to you. This is our experience. We live out of state but visit about twice a year. Our teenage son is high functioning autistic and has been to the parks many times. He did A+ with the trips until he turned about 11. It takes him a couple of days but then he is Okay with everything. He loves Disney. Sometimes used the special assistant pass on waits over 30 minutes. First thing I would advise is go to a park first day if possible and do a couple of activities like at MK, Barnstormer, Philharmagic and People Mover...Keep it very simple first day and just wet your feet. Of course there are rides that terrify him and he wont go on...Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Small World he has displayed all the behaviors you described that your daughter does....especially when the waits are long...laying on the floor covering his ears, ect....my concern there is someone may trip over him and get hurt. But most of the time he copes. Hope your trip has been magically with lots of pixie dust.
