First Day or Last Day

We have a ten day Water Parks and More with hopper ticket for our trip this year and are staying for 15 days and 14 nights. Because of the 14 day expiration, we can not use them the day we arrive and leave. We are driving, not flying, so we don't have flights to worry about, so when we arrive and depart is really completely up to us. What would you do??

Where are you driving in from? I would sleep in until 8ish and get to the resort mid afternoon so you aren't so tired from driving that day which would result in a rough start to the week. Again depending where you live id wake up eat breakfast and drive home on the last day

Driving in from VA but the plan is to do 9 of the 12 hours the day before we arrive. We haven't decided where or when we may stop on the way home.

I second a leisurely departure on your last day. Everyone is full of energy on the first day and itching to get to a park, use the ticket the first day.

Taking the breakfast notion from minniegirl19 - I loved going to Boma breakfast buffet on my last day back in January (we did go to Epcot in the afternoon that day, but only because we had flights at 8:00 pm - otherwise, I would have been more than happy to end my trip with that breakfast.

We have been in this situation before. Go the first day. We usually end up skipping an extra day during the trip when everyone is exhausted, or someone is feeling sick, or the weather is particularly uncooperative, then you'll be able to go the last day as well. Even when we arrive late, we love to start the first day walking down Main Street, hit the favorites with late FP's and enjoy the fireworks while eating a sundae from the main street ice cream parlor. That is when we know we are back at our happy place .
