I like the white stuff, how about you all?

I took some photos before I left for work this morning. I live about 60 km, north east of Toronto. However, I can't upload them here at work, so when I get them uploaded I'll post them!

Have a snowy white day!

DH just called from T.O. and advised me of the good news...:crazy2:

Still enjoying the sunshine in Georgia It's only going to be 70F today........;)

Just got back from a walk in the snow... kids loved it but me.... :crazy2: :scared: blech!!

And to think my dh and 10yo go camping in the white stuff every Jan with the cubs!! Better them then me!!

So I live in Edmonton and we have had snow for a month and I am officially sick of it. I am not a winter person to begin with and dread the first snow fall.

I'll second THAT vote! I think it's fine for that stuff to show up on Dec 24th, and gone by Dec 26th thank-you very much :p I even bought snowpants a few years back so I could play with the kids in it, thinking, stupidly that is, that if I got down in it and played, all of my childhood memories would come back and I'd have fun ... NOT!

I'm still waiting for summer to arrive  geez, guess I must have missed it this year.

Had the white stuff here this morning...Yuck.
It's mostly gone already but DH's first words to day were "This will make driving fun on 2 1/2 weeks when we leave---Not"

I don't really care as long as we can leave, I'm happy.:hyper:

We've had some big, fat, fluffy flakes here today also!! I don't mind it, the first snow is always kind of nice. :) I'm sure I'll get over that soon enough. :p

It did work out well though, very appropriate for what I was doing today....

I put up my new Christmas tree!!! :bounce: :teeth:

This is one of the rare moments that I am actually happy I moved out of the Barrie area! I can still remember running out of places to pile the snow. My DD loves it though and reminded me this morning that she wants to move back.

My DS came upstairs awhile ago and said to look out and there was a very mean snowsquall coming through! You could hardly see out there.:D

I don't care what it does as we're out of here in 11 days to WDW! And I love it to be really cold and chilly when we leave!;)

Actually I do love snow but like so many of you....... just until New Years please!:sunny:

Snowwark..............your tree's up already? :teeth:

I just sent hubby out to get our champagne for the first "snowfall". We always celebrate it. Doesn't look like I will be cracking it open tonight though.

Iam extremely please, considering we live in Manitoba, to announce that we still are seeing green grass and I am taking this opportunity to boast about it because I know it won't last, lol.

Well. Where to begin on this one .

I had said to my DW last friday it would be a good weekend to put the snow tires on. Oh! she said. There will be plenty of time to do that next week. Then my lazy side agreed with her as I said yeah O.K. ( big mistake ) but she had that tone in her voice that made me actually believe it would be all right. I am the sucker born every minute. So sunday night comes along and we've all settled into a movie, SHREK ( the old one ); when my DD starts to get sick..upset tummy cramps and vomit, the whole 9 yards. Now the DW and I are discussing which one of us will have to phone in sick tomorrow inorder to stay at home with our DD. Well DW has used up all her sick days and has spent her vacation down at DWD. So I agreed it should be me. Now its time for bed and my DD tells me " hey! its snowing outside!". There is an inch on the back deck and it was only 10:00 PM. That was the upper cut and I didn't see it comming (due to poor planning and not paying attention to the news). This kept me up all night hoping it was not going to be bad out there in the morning. I worry to much about this type of stuff and the thought of my DW having to drive in this crapy weather got the best of me. To make this story shorter I ended up going to work since I can walk there in 20 minutes. She took the day off to stay home with DD and change the tires over. Better safe than sorry I always say, and we can make up the difference another day. Anyways the moral of my story. When you need time to do somthing and a window of opportunity presents its self, take it. drive safe and always use snow tires......it's a piece of mind thing.

In her best singing voice...........

LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW LET IT SNOW!!!

I think Kim has been getting into all of the stuff she is buying at the LCBO for the Air Miles;)

Christmas Tree already??:earseek:
