first day of school!!

well, today is the first day of third grade for dd. I got her on the bus, took pictures. went to school took more pictures. met her teacher and found that almost all of her friends are in her class except one. she loves that part. and her desk is right next to one of her good friends so she is very happy. she is going to school with a broken arm that she broke at cheerleading on the 12th so I wanted to make sure she settled in smoothly.

where did the summer go? I am realizing now that she is not a baby anymore. she thinks she is some hot stuff with her new "cool" clothes. it is too early for this!!!

My DD has been back at school for over 2 weeks now. Where did the summer go? Glad her day got off to a good start.

Why is it the summer goes by so fast & I always feel bad when the kids have to go back to school so soon?? I'll say it, I will miss them
