Wow! That fact that you have to build yourself up by bringing someone else down indicates self confidence and self esteem issues. My husband and I have several family members, including our parents, who are surgeons and nurses and I have never once heard any of them gloat that they have "saved thousands of lives." That statement is laughableThey know the work they do is life-saving and that in itself is satisfaction enough.
I do agree with you on one point and that is that one of the main reasons health care costs are so high is because of misuse of the ER. However, if a person is without health insurance their only option when sick is to go to the ER. I suspect many of the people you see fall into that category. If we want people to stop using the ER as their PCP we need to make health insurance affordable. Until then, I am afraid you will be seeing many more people with illnesses that could be better treated elsewhere.
WOW just wow!!!
A poster attacked me by saying I was uncaring and heartless.
I said I have saved thousands of lives and thats bragging!!!!

I was NOT attacking anyone but answering somebody who didn't like my opinion!!!! Get it.

This is a WDW message board.
You don't know anything about me.
To infer that I am anything without knowing me on a personal level is ludicrous and scary. You cant judge anybodies emotions from written words on a message board.
I am proud of the work I have done and that is my comment. If you think its braggging....GOOD.

If I was a teacher(which I am) would you criticize me for my accomplishments? Or a senator? Or a Dr.?
By the way. My Uncle was a famous surgeon at Boston Mass General and bragged all the time how many lives he saved.

In fact I have yet to meet a surgeon who doesn't have the "God complex". Does that make them less of a surgeon or humanitarian?
Boy I'm glad I didn't list all my awards Ive won!

Now let me go gloat while I plan my next WDW trip!
