Well, the time finally came for me to go back to work, and I think I did OK!
My work mates were great, really supportive and welcoming, and the children acted as if I had never been away! I did have a few teary moments, particularly when DH brought DS Luke to school, and then left with DS Jack.
But it was great to have Luke there and watch him playing on the yard.
And, I even made the toast.
The thing I had been dreading for so long, the stuff of all my nightmares was actually ok. I didn't burn any, and while they weren't exactly all the same colour etc, they smelt quite nice!
Can I thank all of you who were so supportive during my panic last week, you were all right, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Only another 4 days til the weekend!
