First cruise as platinum

This will be our first cruise where we will be platinum. I know we can board the ship right after concierge. So, does it matter what boarding time we get from on line check in?

Platinum are not required to pick a boarding time during check in.

It is very nice to be Platinum. Even in Miami, we get to the port when we can, we check in and get on the ship.

@PrincessShmoo hopefully has the answer somewhere. Unlike other lines that post it on their site, I couldn't find it anywhere. Have to say our first platinum check in experience in Miami was super easy. Miami twice now has been a more pleasant experience for us vs PC.

You have to be logged in to the DCL site to see the benefits. To get to the CC members pages, click on "My Disney Cruise" which is on the menu bar to the far right and "Castaway Club" is the last option. Then there is a chart under Member Benefits. I can't seem to paste in a picture easily at the moment.

We don't use the spa, never play bingo, and any merchandise we care to purchase is under the fine print "exclusions" from the discount. But we enjoy the other perks, especially the 120 day check-in, priority boarding, and the free meal at Palo.

We have been platinum for a while. Always get on as early as possible, always get the bottle of Proseco and if we have two rooms, because our kids are platinum too, get a fruit plate too. Last year we went to the officer party for a free drink but didn't go this last cruise. We don't use the spa, but I do use the store discount and even used it for some artwork in the gallery. And of course the Palo dinner. This year because we had two rooms that were platinum and everyone over 18 five of us went for free. Just don't forget to tip. And the bags we got on our last cruise were very nice.
