First class seats... purchased versus upgrades

Thankfully I'm completely unfamiliar with EWR-FLL on CO. However, it appears they serve either a snack or a meal depending on the time of day flown. It's not like airline catered food is good enough to be concerned about missing. Perhaps that's why they limit their offerings?

Perhaps you aren't familiar with the EWR-FLL route serviced by Continental. This flight is an almost 3 hour flight, but CO does not fulfill the promise of "meals at meal times." They know it is full of leisure travelers and they choose not to cater it like a "real" domestic F flight. :rolleyes1

I don't eat the domestic food in F unless I had no time to stop and pick up a sandwich and even then I usually prefer to sleep. I have however been on this flight (and other leisure routes on CO) where people were peeved that it was pretzels only or the dreaded cold plate.
