First Christnas Cards made!

Okay I am very proud of myself right now! I made my first EVER Christmas cards yesterday! I made 3 cards and 2 gift tags - not much I know but it is a start! I used the buttons I bought, but I need to remove the shanks form the back of most of them.

Anyway just thought I would share my Christmassy mood with you all!

Hi Spinning! Now the cards are all dry I will try and scan them in tonight! IN case I dont, here ar descriptions...

I made 2 the same as they were so cute - green card, gold backing paper square on the front, green furry christmas tree button in the middle of the gold, gold "Merry Christmas" peel off lettering on the bottom right corner with gold "Merry Christmas" stamp in the middle of the card - too cute! Made 2 of these

The other was white card, silver rectangle of backing paper on the front with 3 white snowflake buttons diagonally from corner to corner of the silver rectangle - black "Merry Christmas" stamp inside - simple but stylish!

You can do it - if I can anyone can!

Sounds neat! Hope you can scan them. IT would be so much fun to have handmade cards. I remember as a kid one of my parents friend's made her card each year it was a treat to open! We saved them all!

That is great that you save dthe cards, I hope people like mine enough to keep them for a few years - will try and scan tonight so you can have a peek!

This is the first time I have ever made them - been buying lots of goddies to make them with the last few months so it was very exciting to actually make something!
