First CHRISTMAS at Disney Pre-Trip Report

Just want to say in advance thank you so very much if you're reading this!!

This is our first Disney trip at Christmastime and we're more excited than ever. We booked it last year so it being only 72 days from now seems like next week compared to having to wait over 400 days!

It will be DH (Dan), DS Nicholas (10), DD Marissa (7) and me (Debbie). I'm the planner in the family especially when it comes to Disney. I love it so much even the people I work with know it. When I started my job I had people come up to me commenting on my vanity Disney license plates. Everyone who knows me know I'm a Disney freak!
DH took his first trip to Disney with me and now he's hooked. So needless to say this is very exciting for us to be planning our first Christmastime Disney trip!!

Dates: 12/16 to 12/26. DD already wrote Santa a letter explaining she wouldn't be home this year so he already knows where she'll be

Resort: Coronado Springs Resort.
We've never stayed here before and are happy to try it this time. We've only stayed at Polynesian and that was nice but since we wanted to stay a full 10 nights we needed to stay a little less expensive this time and think that CSR would be the perfect place. We've seen the beautiful pictures of the resort decorated at Christmastime and all decided this was the right choice.

We have all our ADR's made and am happy to say we got EVERYTHING we wanted! We're on dining plan too. Our ADRs for this trip include:

We have a few things planned this trip including:
1) Family Magic Tour. We saw this going on last trip and they looked like they were having a blast. This was on my kids "to do" list.
2) Fantasmic. We all love this.
3) Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Okay this is what made us decide on a December trip. My kids saw a special on travel channel and they showed this and everything at disney looked so fun/beautiful/exciting at Christmas[/COLOR.
4) Candlelight Processional. Always wanted to do this. Gary Sinese is narrator too!
5) Osborne lights. Can't wait!
6) Gingerbread house at Grand Floridian. This looks really neat.
Those are some on the things we have planned for sure.

I also have a surprise planned that even DH doesn't know about........
I ordered the deluxe tree pkg from Peggy and plan to have this put in our room while we're doing the family magic tour. It'll be a nice surprise to come back to a room with some lights on the window along with some decals and smallChristmas tree!! I'm glad I ordered when I did because she is already sold out for this year.

You are going to love Disney World at Christmas! All the decorations are amazing! My family has been there twice right after Christmas, and will actually be going this year too (we'll be there Dec. 30-Jan. 4). It sounds like you have a really fun trip planned! I'm jealous you're going to the Christmas Party. I was at the Halloween one last year and had a blast!

Ahh, the family magic tour. We did that back when my sisters and I were younger. So much fun!

I'm excited for you!
