We are getting ready for our first camping experience at DW the second week in July and wondered if someone could recommend a loop (we have a 32' TT) that would make a 6 & 3 year old happy! Thanks for any help you can give us.

My only experience is with a premium site and we got the 400 loop. Really nice and within easy walking distance of the marina and Trail's End. To be absolutely honest, I do not think there is a bad loop. Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong. Just depends on your preference of site such as premium, preferred, etc.

You will have a blast, and I guarantee your kids will be be happy no matter where you are. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much. We made the reservation and requested loop 1400 ... nothing like going to WDW on short notice-less than 13 days. We're just hoping with 5 adults & 3 kids that we're even speaking to each other after this trip...:rotfl2:

We have stayed in 1400 twice and like it a lot. During Halloween it was very busy. It's close to the Main pool and the Campfire. So you should enjoy it. Have fun.

I know this a little late, but we had a wonderful time camping at Fort Wilderness July 2014 (it stormed most days 4-5K lighting strikes an hour one night) but that didn't damped the fun had by all. We enjoyed it so much going back this December and have requested loop 1400 again! My husband not much on rides, but he said he would love to just go camping there! We carried our own golf cart which made getting around the grounds so much easier!

Thanks for checking back in. Our first trip ever to the Fort (2000), we were in 1400 on the inner loop. It was fantastic being close to the pool and the campfire. We didn't have a cart and the twice a day wait for the bus to get to/from the parks got a little old. We prefer the 100 Loop now, but I wouldn't mind 1400 again if that's where they put us.

We just returned from the Fort with 12 days of camping in the bigger loop of 1400. My boys are 13 & 9. We all loved the location & site. Walking distance to the restrooms, laundry, Chip & Dale theater, swimming pool, bike barn, and Meadows trading post.

Enjoy your trip.
