:cool1: It's nice to have spring back!! :sunny:

I had to notice one thing though..........how quickly summer left "us" last year. DH has a FAVORITE BBQ tool.........long wooden handle with a metal turner/meat tenderizer/knife. He would always make sure this was brought inside, washed up and put on the shelf. Well, after he was diagnosed with cancer last Aug., summer ended and life got too crazy for bbqs. When I took off the cover, opened the lid, I noticed his prized possession had been left outside for the entire winter!! :earseek: It's no worse for wear but it really brought back some memories for me..........................

Now stand back...........I'm at the grill and I've already proven I can set fire to the oven inside.........no telling what I'm gonna do out there!!

We fired up the charcoal grill today for the first time this year. Burgers and a couple of beers, I was in heaven.

We have a propane grill just out the back door, off the kitchen, on the deck. I have been known to stand out there in the snow and cook a steak! I just can't cook a decent steak unless it is on the grill! Now that the snow is gone, it sure is alot easier to step out there and throw a hamburger on the grill! I love outdoor cooking!! :flower:

What time should I arrive?? I will bring a dessert! :goodvibes

my friends make fun of me because when its hot I'm known to make anything and everything on the grill including meatloaf and stuffed peppers.
I look at it as a challenge and I love a challenge.

I love the smell of a BBQ going! That is one of the things I loved about the Wilderness Lodge! It smelled like BBQ all the time, LOL!

Alright, I gotta ask! How did you cook the meatloaf and stuffed peppers!

When I'm at home I cook out on the balcony all year round, it's nice, but it's having dinner, much better than using the stove though. What I really enjoy is my time in Maine. I spend a huge amount of time there from the end of April until November. When I cookout then it's part of my relaxation and rejuvenation time. I love to cook for just me or for a few dozen. Less than 20 days until I'm having steak by the lake.

To add debate to the thread: Charcoal, yes. Propane, never.
