Boy did that hit the spot! Very tasty and reasonably priced too. It was around $3.75 per banana split at DQ. I was expecting it to cost more.
I hadn't had one in years. It was like most, strawberry, pineapple, chocolate sauces and whipped cream. They used only vanilla ice cream (but you could substitute chocolate or strawberry flavors -- I got chocolate for one scoop). I was surprised there were no nuts and no cherry on top. We brought ours home. I had some chopped nuts that I added. Still very good. Not an everyday thing, that's for sure!
