Am sitting right now in AK, while the family is on rides- I am not a ride person! But, I have a huge blister on my foot, that hurts. Should I go to first aid before heading back to BWV, or should I take care of it myself when I get back.

If you have the appropriate items to treat your blister yourself, do so. Otherwise first aid is located next to the baby care center just past Pizzafari located on the left side of the Discovery Island.

If you have a car, I would recommend going out and getting some mole skin or body glide to prevent more from developing. Good luck.

If you have band-aids/moleskin/antiseptics with you or at the room, I'd suggest taking care of it yourself. First Aid can take a bit of time out of your day.

If it's so bad you can't walk for prolonged periods, or if you need immediate first aid supplies (such as the blister ripped open, or is bleeding), the First Aid station should be able to help.

I advise going to First Aid. They were awesome when I had the same problem, and I stupidly suffered for a few days before going to AK First Aid.

At least check it out to see how crowded it is on the sign in sheet and remember some are just there to get bandaids etc too.

First Aid in the parks is great, go and let them help you! :thumbsup2

First Aid is fantastic! My DD8 gets migraines, and one afternoon we were in the parks and she got a migraine. I forgot to pack her Motrin in the backpack, so we went to the First Aid station. They gave her some Motrin and off she went! It was about 5 minutes.

I haven't used FA at WDW, but I love them at DLR. They are registered nurses (something Walt Disney insisted upon, I've read) and are very careful.

Story: DS smacked his cheek, HARD, on a new ride at DCA, and he needed an ice pack. They gave us one, but also made SURE that what we said happened had actually happened, in order to protect DS. Having been through that questioning twice when DS was 3 and had two ER visits (one burn and one fall), we know that it's uncomfortable, but it is also a GOOD thing. We appreciated the care they took with him; they also palpated his face to make sure there was no fracture. (for those heading to DLR soon: Mater's Junkyard Jamboree has major forces that can slam you against the side, and the sides are 100% UNpadded) (for now)

I always wonder why people bring drugs and all of that with them, when you can jump into FA and get something for a headache or blister or stomachache, etc.

Hey OP, how did it work out?
